Biden Appears To Doze Off During Meeting With Israeli PM

As it dawns on him that Biden is asleep—and to his credit—Bennett turns to address his comments to the press.

President Trump once dubbed then-candidate Joe Biden “Sleepy Joe,” and it seems that Biden is working hard to live down to that well-earned nickname.

In fact, it appears that Biden is quite literally sleeping during an on-camera White House meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

Here’s a clip that zooms in on Biden:

You have to feel for Bennett. The poor man is so sincere and trying so hard to communicate . . . with a snoozing, twitching Biden.

As it dawns on him that Biden is asleep—and to his credit—Bennett turns to address his comments to the press. Perhaps he is trying to limit the embarrassment and humiliation of doddering and clearly unfit Sleeping Joe, hoping that the cameras will switch to focus to his comments rather than focus on the snoozing leader of the free world?

I suppose a case could be made that Biden is merely listening with his eyes closed (and shoulders slumped), but to make that case, one would need to demonstrate that this is a known trait of Biden’s, something I don’t recall seeing over his 40 odd years in public office.

One would also need to explain why when Bennett concludes with “Thank you Mr. President, I look forward to working with you,” Biden doesn’t open his eyes and respond as any normal (awake and alert) human being would.

Biden just keeps embarrassing our great country, and he’s doing it for all the world to see.

Bennet almost started laughing when he realized Biden “was not there”.

Maybe Biden will make fewer mistakes if he goes to sleep more often.

Proggies will dismiss this as a ‘deep fake’

This guy is every joke they made about Reagan and Quayle and Bush and Trump except none of them were those things. Biden is all of them combined. Stupid, senile, asleep.

This FARCE of a Presidency must end.

One thing that I’m certain of, now — I think that this Afghanistan withdrawal debacle/farce guarantees it — President Trump is running in 2024. No doubt in my mind. It’s the battle this country must have. And, President Trump will beat Xi-den, again, for the second time, only this time, the vile Dhimmi-crats won’t have their paper ballot shenanigans and a surprise, perfectly-timed Chinese communist-created bioweapon gift, to help them nullify the result.

No one cares! The Ds have their power. They have destroyed faith in any fair and free elections, they have whittled away at the prestige and competency of the Executive Branch with their non-stop harassment of any R in that office and there isn’t a major information dispenser that doesn’t push all things DNC approved.

I see nopositive end to this lunacy.

Wake up, Ole Joe, wake up
Wake up, Ole Joe, wake up
You’ve been sound asleep
Wake up Ole Joe and weep

The election’s over, it’s twelve o’clock
And you’re in trouble deep
Wake up, Ole Joe
Wake up, Ole Joe

Well, what are ya gonna tell Congress?
What are ya gonna tell your Doc Jilled?
What are ya gonna tell our allies
When they say, “You got Marines killed!”

Geez, have some sympathy for poor, old, tottering, feeble, dim-witted dotard/Chinese communist-controlled vassal/dhimmi, Xi-den.

It took a lot of hard work and planning to set up that massive donation of tens of billions of dollars of U.S. weaponry and materiel to the global Muslim supremacist/terrorist movement.

Rip Van Biden, been asleep for 40 years.

Not when it came to his bank account.

He’s a frappin’ multi, multi millionaire. He’s always been on a public payroll, never soiling his hands in the dreaded private sector.

Old Joe’s been working ever so hard “for the people.”

Stealing and selling our your nation is easy. It takes character to resist temptation.

Hence: Biden has about as much character and talent for leadership as Hillary Clinton.

LOL — when it comes to self-enrichment and enriching his family members and cronies, Xi-den has the D.C. Swamp hustle, down pat.

Quick, get the smelling salts. Or any little girl’s hair will do.

Elder abuse

Stop being so mean to our glorious leader!

I’m sure he woke up completely refreshed and aware of everything that was going on. Why, he may have even dreamed a solution to the Afghanistan evacuation problem. Many of his best ideas have come to him while he was asleep you know.

I predicted about a week ago that Biden would last about 2 weeks. Looks like I may be right.

awake, asleep, what’s the difference? Come to think of it, asleep is better.

If only Bennett had been clever enough to weave the words “ice cream” somewhere into his presentation as an ad lib, he could have salvaged this..
It’s sort of like Joe’s “safe word,” except completely the opposite.
I get the same reaction from my dogs when I use the words “fat rat” (squirrel).

Bennett was clearly embarrassed for Biteme. World leaders are consummate politicians,, they will never come right out and say,, something like what the hell, he fell asleep on me…

A perfect time for a string of firecrackers under Biden’s chair.

I think it’s interesting that if you look at the CSPAN video of this exchange, available on their own website and their YouTube channel, they’ve elected to use the ‘one-shot’ during this part of the meeting rather than the ‘two-shot’ that is seen above. IOW, they’ve selected the camera angle that only shows Israeli PM rather than both. They know the video isn’t flattering so they simply edited out Biden while he nodded off.

Awww, give the guy a break — it was past his nap time!

The beginning to the End and the End is in the here and now.
Will we see Biden removed by consent or impeachment?
The alternative is worse than the issue at hand. Biden can be contained, Harris not so much. And the Dems knew it then and know it now. It’s those who are calling the shots right now who have Americans life in their hands.

Everything leading up to the nomination of Harris as VP points to the fact that Biden’s “Team” was very much aware of Joe’s on set dementia. Which answers for the why they were using the cover of Covid to put Joe in the basement and away from uncontrollable interactions. In most all ways, nothing has changed. Those who set the path leading to his nomination and his campaigning are still in charge and with knowing knowledge of how inept Harris was/is cementing their ace in hole for holding that control. Like Biden himself, they have no clue in hell how to manage the paper tiger they created

The Friendly Grizzly | August 29, 2021 at 6:54 pm

In other news, as the dead military men were being taken off the plane at Dover, Biden was looking at his watch.

A lot of people start having trouble staying awake when they reach their 70s, this isn’t a sign of dementia but it is a sign of aging.

ChrisPeters in reply to Danny. | September 2, 2021 at 3:08 pm

Whether it was his advanced age or dementia at work is irrelevant. This took place during a meeting with his counterpart from an ally, and his failure to remain awake, aware, and coherent is objective proof he was not performing his job properly, and it is indicative of a LIKELY ONGOING INABILITY to perform his job.

Fuzzy Slippers: One would also need to explain why when Bennett concludes with “Thank you Mr. President, I look forward to working with you,” Biden doesn’t open his eyes and respond as any normal (awake and alert) human being would.

Oh, gee whiz. Biden immediately responds: “Well, thank you, and you give me credit, much of which should go to Barack Obama for making sure that we committed.”
