The 4th is about blowing stuff up, as I remember when I was a kid. I doubt that Zuckerberg spoiled that. It was more the malign influence of pearl clutchers.
Everybody owns the flag. Even the most corrupt and stupid politician stands in front of a display of six or eight of them. On the positive side, a kid can put one on his bicycle without being even slightly corrupt. It’s a range. Zuckerberg can certainly have one.

As for the “just like us” part–how many of you can afford a $12000 toy to ride over the water for a photo op? Just like us? In what way? I am Conservative, female, intelligent and middle class. I suspect far more Americans consider themselves and me to be “just like us” than Zuck the Schmuck. Oh, maybe the just like us refers to the NSA, CIA, FBI and DoJ.
