‘Rise of the Moors’ Militia Group Arrest Does Not Fit The Media and Government Narrative

On the weekend of the 4th, state police in Massachusetts ended up in an hours-long highway standoff with an armed group of men who identify as part of a group called “Rise of the Moors.”

They claim to be sovereign and above the laws of the United States. The national media is, for the most part, ignoring the story, and certainly is not giving it the obsessive coverage it would have received if the race of the group members was different.

Joe Biden and the FBI claim that white supremacy is the biggest threat in America right now and this story definitely does not fit the official narrative.

This particular ‘Rise of the Moors’ group is from Rhode Island and claimed they were on their way to Maine to “train” when they were first noticed by police.

Since the standoff happened in Massachusetts, some local outlets like MassLive have been covering the basic facts. Here’s what unfolded on July 3rd:

A Massachusetts State Police trooper was traveling northbound on Interstate 95 in Wakefield when he came upon two vehicles stopped in the breakdown lane around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. The men were attempting to refuel their vehicles. The occupants of the vehicle were dressed in military-style tactical gear. Some had long rifles, some pistols and “some had a combination of both,” Massachusetts State Police Colonel Christopher Mason told reporters on Saturday. The trooper asked members of the group to produce licenses for the firearms and members of the group indicated they weren’t licensed or didn’t have copies of licenses on them.“You can imagine 11 armed individuals standing with long guns slung on an interstate highway at two in the morning certainly raises concerns and is not consistent with the firearms laws we have in Massachusetts,” Mason said…The individuals are members of Rise of the Moors, a group who identify as Moorish Americans…“Moorish sovereigns espouse an interpretation of sovereign doctrine that African Americans constitute an elite class within American society with special rights and privileges that convey on them a sovereign immunity placing them beyond federal and state authority.”

The leader of the group was actually broadcasting live video during the standoff:

They were arraigned in court on Wednesday. Jake Dima of the Washington Examiner has details:

‘Rise of the Moors’ members in Massachusetts armed standoff case combative in court appearancesSeveral members of the “Rise of the Moors,” a group that does not identify with U.S. laws, were combative and chaotic during court arraignments Wednesday.Ten men and one 17-year-old were arrested Saturday, and Massachusetts law enforcement seized firearms after the group was seen donning tactical gear off I-95. They were brought into custody after an hourslong standoff that involved the suspected militia fleeing “into the woods carrying rifles and handguns,” police said.Conrad Pierre, 29, of New York, sparred with a judge about obtaining an attorney after he said he does not fall within the jurisdiction of U.S. laws. After minutes of back and forth, he was assigned a lawyer.Another man, referred to as John Doe No. 2, has refused to identify himself to the court, and authorities ordered him to reveal his name by Friday. On Tuesday, several others entered the proceedings and demonstrated similar behaviors. All have since been held without bail.

Last night, Laura Ingraham of FOX News did an interesting report on the case and the group. She interviewed a former MA state trooper and a former FBI analyst who have both had contact with the group before:

If these men were white nationalists, this story would be leading every broadcast on CNN and MSNBC. You wouldn’t know anything else was even happening in the world.
