Joe Biden Putting Kamala Harris in Charge of Protecting ‘Voting Rights’

“With her leadership and your support, we’re going to overcome again, but it’s going to take a hell of a lot of work.”

Joe Biden announced this week that he is putting Vice President Harris in charge of protecting voting rights. Biden made this move to reinforce the Democrat narrative that minorities suffer from voter suppression.

It’s all about their efforts to prove a need for their HR1 Bill, which would radically alter the way we conduct elections.

Brett Samuels reported at The Hill:

Biden puts Harris in charge of efforts to protect voting rights

President Biden on Tuesday tasked Vice President Harris with leading his administration’s efforts to protect voting rights, adding an urgent and complex issue to her growing portfolio.

Biden made the announcement during a speech in Tulsa, Okla., where he marked the 100th anniversary of a massacre in which a white mob killed hundreds of Black people and destroyed a thriving community known as Black Wall Street.

The president pointed to the systemic challenges facing Black Americans 100 years later, including threats to the right to vote as multiple states debate and pass laws that experts say will make it more difficult for minorities in particular to cast their ballot.

“To signify the importance of our efforts, today I’m asking Vice President Harris to help these efforts and lead them among her many other responsibilities,” Biden said. “With her leadership and your support, we’re going to overcome again, but it’s going to take a hell of a lot of work.”

Kamala’s plate is getting pretty full. In March, Biden put her in charge of the border crisis. She has not bothered to visit there or do anything.

In April, during his first address to Congress, Biden put Harris in charge of his ‘American Jobs Plan.’

Transcript via the White House:

The American Jobs Plan creates jobs replacing 100 percent of the nation’s lead pipes and service lines so every American can drink clean water. (Applause.)

And in the process, it will create thousands and thousands of good-paying jobs. It creates jobs connecting every American with high-speed Internet, including 35 percent of the rural America that still doesn’t have it.

This is going to help our kids and our businesses succeed in the 21st-century economy.

And I am asking the Vice President to lead this effort, if she would —

THE VICE PRESIDENT: Of course.

THE PRESIDENT: — because I know it will get done. (Applause.)

Harris certainly has taken on a lot of responsibility. But, pity, she has nothing to show for it so far.

Ever notice how the left can’t be honest about anything. They call it voter right but what it means is your vote gets watered down if you get on e at all.

That’s pretty ironic given that typically Democrats have to get 4/5% more of the vote becuase the inherent way the system is balanced. Care to tell me the last time a Republican won the popular vote hint it was 2004 and then prior to that 1988.

It is remarkable how four blue counties can always find just enough votes to flip their whole states, isn’t it?

Exactly one voting district in MI, PA, WI and GA flipped the vote in those four states. Each of those voting districts had voting patterns significantly out of line with voting districts in the same parts of the same cities.

Those districts, in addition to another district in AZ and VA, also run by democrats, are the only districts in the country to show such high block to block deviation.

Given the ironclad opposition to *any* form of transparency, it beggars belief that those were legitimate results.

But no-one could conclusively prove a crime had been committed, so the courts blocked any investigation, where they did not simply deny standing.

And you cannot find what you do not look for.

“But no-one could conclusively prove a crime had been committed, so the courts blocked any investigation.”

Amazing, isn’t it, considering that were these actual criminal cases the prosecutor wouldn’t have to conclusively prove the crime before being granted a warrant to investigate the crime.

It’s not ironic because your reply has nothingto do with what he said.

What do you expect? No matter what you say, it’ll go in one ear and out the other of this guy.

Then again, he’s probably paid 20 dollars per hour to hang around here and post bad arguments.

You overlook one itty bitty little fact: If the election outcome was determined by the popular vote winner, the candidates would campaign differently and voter turnout would also be different.

UnCivilServant | June 2, 2021 at 11:23 am

So, nothing’s going to be done at all?

That seems to be the only thing she is capable of in an official capacity.

I’m sure Kammy will be all about giving illegals at the border instant voting rights, thereby killing two birds while she’s stoned.

Biden is playing a game here. Not sure what.

    It’s tiddly-winks, a steep drop-off from Mr. Trump’s 3D chess.

He’s not playing anything – Susan Rice and Anita Dunn are: they run the nation.

Harris was put in place for a very specific reason: she’s absolutely talentless, corrupt and easy to manipulate from within. (Besides, if they need a good time, she’ s close by.) She is failing by design.

Guess who is in the line of secession behind Biden and Harris: Pelosi.

“They” knew that Biden would not last four years, and they knew if they put in a leftist psycho Blm lunatic like Latifa James, they could not steal the election. So they picked the disp0sable Harris. And she is disposable. We’re watching it, according to plan

The plan: replace Harris with a leftist lunatic, and Biden resigns or get’s 25th Amendment’ed out.

It’s Weekend at Bernie’s. We were all fooled into thinking that Biden was Bernie, but really it’s Kamala. When Biden puts Kamala in charge of a crisis, we can conscientiously replace the photo on the press release with one of a blow-up doll.

That’s like having an abortionist in the nursery.

On the plus side (since she did so much on the border) our voting rights might just survive this administration!

henrybowman in reply to JDmyrm. | June 2, 2021 at 5:08 pm

She’s never gone near the border since, so at least this will keep her away from the election machinery.

Wow. I thought establishment r had the market on failure theatre cornered.

She was CA AG and a CA Senator. Every single item in the voting process of CA that is more restrictive than what GA or TX are implementing she will be forced to defend or cede the ground.

Same for Biden and Delaware. Ditto Schumer for NY. Lots of other examples where blue States voting regimes are far more restrictive than most red States. Even the legacy media has picked up on this fact and pushed, ever so gently, for responses from prominent d/progressive pols who keep spouting the voter suppression garbage.

At best this gives Harris a platform to use her ethnicity to bash r and red States that she won’t deliver on but can use a signature issue for her own presidential campaign.

At worst and far more likely IMO, she will be unable to answer the questions and unable to advance the ball because she lacks any retail level political skills and always comes across as whining, dishonest and conniving.

Way to torpedo Harris again Joe Biden. First saddle her with immigration now this!

    mark311 in reply to CommoChief. | June 2, 2021 at 1:18 pm

Saying that blue states suppress voting misses the point as these states are moving in the opposite direction. No one on the left defends NY voting system. Red states are practically all enacting voter suppression laws.

      CommoChief in reply to mark311. | June 2, 2021 at 1:32 pm

      mark,

      A few questions:
Which provisions of the GA legislation do you disagree with?
      Why?
What States have more restrictive policies?
Can you please identify the similar level of outrage and condemnation from the left and legacy media about those States?

God what a disaster

This should stay sticky FOREVER:

Never forget who this woman is – and isn’t.

I think we can all guess whose voting rights she’s NOT going to protect.

Hen house, meet your protector, the hyena.

Fat_Freddys_Cat | June 2, 2021 at 2:18 pm

Okay, here’s where she can start: the assertion that a significant number of minority voters are being “suppressed” because of the requirement to show ID to vote. Let’s see the data: how many voters are we talking about? Where are they (I’m guessing they’re not evenly distributed)?

Before we enact a radical remedy like doing away with voter ID we should know the scope of the problem. There may be a simpler and better solution.

Spread legs Harris will #uck this up like she does everything else.

You gotta give her one thing: she was able to stay under the radar re her incompetence while in California. But then, you called it (‘spread legs’) – now out of CA, with no one left to service, her exposure to the world is not on her former terms, and she’s being seen for the vacuous , corruptable hack she is.

This is all intentional by the powers that put her where she now is.

Years ago there was a parody of a tv commercial for Wheaties. The cereal was called Prostituties. Instead of going “snap, crackle and pop,” they just lay there and banged away. Every time I seen Harris’ face I am reminded of that.

Ghost Rider | June 2, 2021 at 4:57 pm

So Kamaltoe has been put in charge of ensuring the voter cheating of the past election gets enshrined in the law of land. To hell with state’s right and vote integrity. Don’t worry, she’ll blow it just like everything else. No pun intended.

The only thing Kamala Harris is qualified to protect involves covering her own a$$.

amatuerwrangler | June 2, 2021 at 6:59 pm

I’m old enough to remember Bill Clinton putting his VP, Algore, in charge of cleaning out the redundant and out dated laws on the books so that the government could run without all that baggage….. What became of all that?

Like putting Mrs. Clinton in charge of Government ethics and National Security – neither have been impacted by Voting Laws; but to be fair, their Cackles are identical; they both are non-Black; both married for money, both are darlings of the Media; and they’re both equally ineffective.

Lucifer Morningstar | June 2, 2021 at 8:14 pm

Nothing to really worry about. Slo Joe put the Hoe in charge of the border crisis situation and so far she hasn’t even visited the southern border. So the chances that she’ll do anything with being put in charge of “voter rights” are nonexistent. It’ll be just one more thing Harris avoids like the plague so she doesn’t have to take any responsibility.

The only job Heels-Up Harris wants is Comrade Biden’s.

His fake doctor wife probably reminds him of that every day. Lest he forget.

Maybe she has to remind him several times a day. Maybe she’s behind these no-win assignments. Maybe she knows the Obamessiah wants to replace Comrade Joe sooner rather than later.

George_Kaplan | June 2, 2021 at 8:55 pm

Kamala protecting voting rights is akin to Kamala protecting unborn Americans – don’t hold your breath.

“With her leadership and your support, we’re going to overcome again.”

Overcome what?

80 million votes from cities kind of proves minorities are voting in record numbers.

I’ll bet she never expected to be a lackey to a dementia addled buffoon when she agreed to run for this office.

Getting the professional Sex Worker to guard the elections is like a farmer getting a Fox to Guard the Hen House.
