It’s OK Kamala Harris Hasn’t Visited the Border Because She Also Hasn’t Visited Europe
If she says border one more time I will scream.
Lester Holt performed journalism! He confronted Vice President Kamala Harris about her absence at the border even though she handles the migrant surge.
I don’t have the words for her reaction, so here’s the transcript.

“And I haven’t been to Europe. And I mean, I don’t, understand the point you’re making. I’m not discounting the importance of the border.”
Her laugh. At least it wasn’t the full-blown cackle she usually lets out in an awkward situation.
But it’s more than her words. Look at her body language. Listen to the tone. Both do not give off the caring nature one should have for the border crisis.
One could easily assume she is brushing off the migrant surge despite saying she’s “not discounting the importance of the border.”
Harris needs a new public relations team. She is just as bad as Biden. They don’t know how to compose themselves in interviews. They are people who need the questions beforehand, or else they’re going to mess up.
Do you know why I prefer writing to doing radio or TV? Because I am exactly like them, but I recognize my weakness and don’t choose a profession that puts me in that situation.

If Trump was president she would visit the border to show how bad the conditions are for the poor illegals. But since Trump is gone they don’t want pictures of their border failure highlighted in the news.
If I recall, there was extensive reporting about how bad conditions were at the border under Trump. Things are so much worse now, so Of Course she doesn’t want cameras out there documenting that (not that the Dem Press would show actual footage of actual conditions to provide Actual comparison).
Where is Crying Occasional Cortex when you need her?
I was unaware that we had a border problem with Europe. Who knew?
When spinning an answer one must spin it so fast it makes the issue blurry, which of course is the point.
Interview Transcript – Chuck Todd w/ VP Kamala Harris
TODD: Madame Vice President, why are you so wonderful?
HARRIS: When I was a little girls, I once went to a K-mart. It was a lot like a Walmart, or so I am told. (Giggle)
TODD: What is the best thing about being Vice President?
HARRIS: (Giggle) Joe and I eat ice-cream. Not always together. Sometimes I am in Minnesota and he is in Michigan, and I eat ice-cream. Sometimes he eats ice-cream when bathing in the tub. I rub his back when he does that, or sometimes stroke the hair on his legs while he sniffs my hair, Often, the ice-cream melts and it drips in my hair while Joe sniffs it. So he is eating ice-cream and I am not. It’s really important that I eat ice cream, too. (Giggle) I like to lay in the bed in the Lincoln Bedroom and stare at the ceiling while I eat ice-cream, and Joe will lay their next to me and eat ice-cream while we both stare at the ceiling together. Jill likes to watch. But I do not have to eat ice-cream when Joe eats Ice-cream.
TODD: Which world leader finds you the most sexy?
HARRIS: Everyone I know has the hots for me. This is well known. In fact, I have the hots for myself. (Giggle). So, to answer your question, I think I find myself the most sexy. (Giggle)

That is the biggest non-sequitur I’ve heard to date from her.
Who cares if you haven’t been to Europe. We don’t share a border with them and there’s not a crisis that you were put in charge of there.
We DO have a border with Mexico and we DO have a crisis there. Maybe go there, since you WERE put in charge of it?

Apparently Joe’s cognitive decline is so advanced that it has become contagious.
She hasn’t been to the border because unless it was staged to the maximum the optics would be horrible.
As for going to Europe, she’s using that as an excuse, ie. I’m not traveling anywhere anyway because of Covid. And quite frankly, given the logistics of even having the VP pay a visit I’m sure the Europeans don’t mind.
Sorry for replying to myself, but by mentioning Europe it says to me that if she was able, she’d be the perpetually-traveling VP. Have a few official meetings so the taxpayer can fully foot the bill for what would essentially be vacations.

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in the meeting of the Harris camp and the Biden camp duking it out over Joe naming her the “border czar”. Has anyone ever been as absent at a job as this?
The silence from the press on how awkward this was in those “first 100 days” is deafening. Kamala doesn’t want the job, can’t stand that she was given a tough job, can’t weasel her way out of it, DEFINITELY can’t think her way out of it, and the press just softball it and barely even probe it the way journalists would and should actually do.
They are busy pretending that there isn’t really a crisis going on there. If there’s no crisis, why would she need to go? No job to be done there.
I don’t even give Holt that much credit. He asked a very basic question and pushed SLIGHTLY. That’s now what counts as objective journalism? Hardly…this was a soft push at best.
For Trump or Pence, this interview would be loaded with buzz words and double entendres to bias the audience’s perception before he could even answer a word. Of course, it would also be flanked by 24/7 talking head rehashing of fake fact checking, partisan “analysis”, and many more buzz words.
He’s not even pushing.
He’s practically begging her to give him ANY answer he can spin in her favor.

Every old man in California politics banged Kamala Harris. Word is, she banged half the male population of her college class. You can just be there are photos/videos somewhere, and this wreck of a woman is in the pocket of who knows who.
My suspicion is that she is getting these juicy assignments thanks to Jill Biden, who wants people tolerating Joe for as long as possible, because they dread the alternative.
