We recently noted that the veteran motorcycle group Rolling to Remember had been denied a permit for their annual ride into Washington, DC by the Biden administration.
Then, Rep. Darrell Issa got involved and tried to help them. Well, apparently everything got sorted out, because they are riding into DC as planned.

After logistics threatened tradition, Rolling To Remember is ready to rideRolling To Remember has finally confirmed a spot where organizers can hold their event this Memorial Day weekend. A tradition that started here in D.C. 34 years ago as ‘Rolling Thunder’, thousands of bikers and veterans flock to the nation’s capital with a powerful message.A way to honor war veterans who were either taken prisoner or are still Missing in Action.Logistical problems between organizers and the Pentagon Police stopped this demonstration for a short time. Now Rolling To Remember, which is run by AMVETS, has revived the ride.Continued advocacy for the nation’s missing in action and the veteran suicide crisis, the motorcycle demonstration focuses on critical issues facing our veterans and demand action for the 82,000 service members missing, as well as raise awareness of the 22 veterans who die by suicide each day.The message will be clear throughout: we will never forget our POWs and MIAs, and we won’t stop fighting for real solutions to the suicide crisis.Mayor Muriel Bowser has granted RFK Stadium permission to rent the parking lot to AMVETS for this 1st Amendment event.
Breitbart is reporting that they’re expecting 100,000 bikers. Wow.
