As Biden Admin Pledges Millions in Aid to Palestinians, Hamas Leader Shows off Gun-Toting Child in Gaza Rally

After hiding behind Gaza civilians during the eleven days of conflict with Israel, Hamas leadership has come out of its hide-outs and terror tunnels to hold “victory” parades and rallies.

In one such event, Gaza’s Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was seen showing off a child carrying a heavy assault rifle in his hand.

The child was dressed up in camouflage and wore a headband apparently depicting the logo of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s terrorist militia. The imagery highlights Hamas’s strategy of indoctrinating Palestinian children and youth in the ideology of martyrdom and jihad warfare against Israel.

“I prefer to die a martyr from an F-16 than to die of coronavirus,” declared the Hamas Gaza chief who hid behind women and children during the eleven days of fighting, and watched as hundreds of his own misfired rockets landed on Gazan civilians.

Sinwar was among 1,000 convicted terrorists released by Israel in October 2011 in exchange for the captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. He has since risen in rank, replacing Ismail Haniyeh as the over all leader of Hamas in Gaza four years ago.

The Times of Israel reported Sinwar’s renewed threats against Israel:

The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas on Wednesday threatened to renew intense fighting against Israel if the Jewish state “violates” the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, and downplayed damage to its military infrastructure following the 11-day conflict in the Gaza Strip.“What has happened is but a drill for what will come if Israel violates the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” the terror group’s Gaza leader, Yahya Sinwar, said on Wednesday, days after a ceasefire entered effect. “The occupation must know — Al-Aqsa has men who will defend it.” (…)The Hamas leader also said he would welcome Israel killing him in a targeted strike.“The greatest gift Israel can give me is to assassinate me,” he said. “I prefer to die a martyr from an F-16 than to die of coronavirus or [another] disease.”

Following the ceasefire, President Joe Biden offered an additional $38.5 million in aid to Gaza. Billions of dollars received from abroad have been used by Hamas to build up its jihadist militia and terrorist infrastructure in Gaza.

Instead of building homes or schools for the Gazans, the Islamic terrorist group has created a web of undergrounds tunnels to move jihadi fighters and weapons across Gaza. “Sinwar claimed on Wednesday that Hamas has 500 km. of tunnels in the Gaza Strip and that only five percent of the tunnels had been damaged in recent clashes,” The Jerusalem Post reported this week.

The Hamas leader also took a swipe at Secretary of State Antony Blinken for pledging to keep the U.S. aid from falling in the hands of Hamas. “I say to Blinken and to everyone else: enough playing with our internal divides. We know how to solve our problems internally,” Sinwar said.

The whole world knows how Hamas solves “problems internally.” In 2007, when Hamas took control of Gaza, it threw political opponents from rooftops. Since then, the Islamist group has unleashed a reign of terror, using torture and summery executions to consolidate its hold on the territory.

The Hamas leader rejected the generous offer made by the Biden administration, preferring to take money from the Iranian regime and Muslim donors. Gaza has “sufficient financial resources… a large part of which are from Iran, and another part comes from Arab and Muslim donors and free people of the world who stand in solidarity with our people and their rights,” Sinwar added.

While the U.S., United Nations and other countries line up millions of dollars to “rebuild” Gaza, Hamas continues to call for the destruction of Israel. Hamas’s Qatar-based leader Khaled Mashal declared that there was “[n]o future for the Zionist entity on our [Arab] land,” an Israeli Arab journalist reported Saturday.

This should come as no surprise. Hamas, an Islamist death cult, is an offshoot of the worldwide Muslim Brotherhood movement. The terrorist group openly calls for jihad against Israel. “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it,” the preamble of the Hamas constitution (or the covenant) says.

While Hamas fired over 4500 rockets at Israeli towns and cities, it did so by placing missile launchers in crowded neighborhoods. “Hamas have turned the civilian population of Gaza into a human shield. Moreover, between 20-30 percent of the rockets launched by the Palestinian terrorists actually fall in the territory of the Gaza Strip and result in killing Gazan civilians,” Israeli officials said. Hamas regularly uses schools, mosques and residential building in Gaza to launch rockets attacks and hide weaponry.
