Vermont Governor Gives People Over Age 16 Who Identify As Non-White COVID Vaccine Priority

If you are over 16 and high risk, you can also sign up. But healthy white people must wait.

Vermont Republican Gov. Phil Scott announced people over 50 can sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine along with only those 16-years-old and up who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC).

If you are over 16 and high risk, you can also sign up. But healthy white people must wait.

I’m sick and tired of everyone concentrating on skin color, sex, and sexual preferences. You know, gingers are extremely rare. How come I don’t get priority?

Vermont created BIPOC focused clinics. Yes, they have separate clinics:

Did you know that you can join a Native American tribe even if you have minimal DNA? Just ask Sen. Elizabeth Warren!

So does that mean anyone with indigenous DNA can receive the vaccine even if they look like Warren? I live in Oklahoma and, well, I’ve seen a lot of pale people like me with Indian nation license plates. But we know they are not lying because you have to prove you have that tribe’s bloodline.

How about if you had a black great-great-great-grandfather or grandmother?

Where does it stop? It’s only if you identify as a BIPOC.

I ‘identify’ as White, therefore I’m a racist;
Racism is (ipso facto) a mental disorder;
Therefore, I’m automatically eligible for the vaccine.

Besides, I’m BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Caucasianous.)

For months, I have self-identified as a WPOC. I see nothing wrong with describing myself in such fashion.

My skin tone is as far from being white as Li’l Al Sharpton’s is from being black.

They want people of. Color to take the vaccine. Maybe the numbers are down and they are offering a deal to get those folks to take it. Or it’s just political posturing.

    Absolutely illegal. And morally horrific.

    thetaqjr in reply to r2468. | April 5, 2021 at 11:50 am

How is a BIPOC to know that the insistence that BIPOC be injected isn’t a plot to infect them all with a mutant vaccine that will render them bleached by leeching the melanin from them to the extent they will all appear, not as BIPOCs, but as WPOCs?

Why would anyone identify as white in this day and age?

JHogan in reply to LukeHandCool. | April 2, 2021 at 3:56 pm

To get all of those ‘white privilege’ benefits. You know, the ‘privilege’ of having to look for a job, work for a living, paying bills, paying increasingly confiscatory taxes, trying to save money for retirement, and obeying the laws.

Unfortunately, after the Democrat communist fascists consolidate their power and control and create a socialist paradise in the US none of us will have these privileges anymore.

audax in reply to LukeHandCool. | April 3, 2021 at 2:27 am

    Because…..God MADE me white as milk….and I live in a 99.999% WHITE Country….Slovakia.

The Friendly Grizzly | April 2, 2021 at 1:52 pm

Let’s see…. I am Hispanic based on Spanish ancestry, and Asian based on Ukraine/Georgian ancestry. I guess I am ahead of all those honkies.

Note, please….this is a REPUBLICAN governor doing this. (How many blacks ARE there in Vermont?!?)

Fortunately, that’s not racist or anything.

Phil Scott, the Republican governor of Vermont, announced in Nov 2020 that he would not be voting for President Trump. Well I suppose the Republican Governor voted for a Democrat as did Romney, all the Bushes and lots of people who post here on Legalinsurrection. Trump haters abound.

JHogan in reply to UserP. | April 2, 2021 at 4:10 pm

IOW, Scott is a charlatan and really a Democrat, Like Romney and the Bushes. And Bill Kristol, Jonah Goldberg, etc.

I’m so sick and tired of this. When is the majority going to say ‘enough’?

There are a lot of Republican blue state politicians who actually are something of a bulwark against the left where they are able (i.e. MA) but this one I really can’t think of what the difference between him and a Democrat is.

Sorry, identify one Massachusetts RINO… excuse me, Republican… who holds the line against anything. Bill Weld? Mitt Romney? Paul Cellucci? Charlie Baker? Jane Swift? There was Calvin Coolidge, but I think that makes my point.

I identify as a male lesbian, does that count?

So that’s what, about 1.3% of Vermont’s population?

NJ observer in reply to JHogan. | April 2, 2021 at 3:52 pm

Will they be importing people to boost the numbers?

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to JHogan. | April 2, 2021 at 5:20 pm

Count the Subaru Foresters with Towanda stickers.

UserP in reply to JHogan. | April 2, 2021 at 6:31 pm

Provisional Death Counts for Coronavirus Disease Distribution of Deaths by Race shows that the 97% of COVID-19 deaths in Vermont were white, however the percentage of whites is only 93%. Thus you would think that whites should be at the front of the line getting vaccinated since a greater percentage of the white population is dying of COVID-19 than any other race.

Wrong demographic. The dark diversity classes can consume nutritional supplements to compensate for natural deficits. The light diversity classes, too.

For decades, liberals, lawyers, and corporations knew… “fat is beautiful” is a past, present, and progressive comorbidity. #NoJudgment #NoLabels #JustRisk

50 years of affirmative action in government, universities, and big corporations didn’t work.

So now the next step in the Democrat’s great social engineering experiment, AKA communism, is to identify and segregate whites from the rest of the population — excluding, of course, white Party members — and explicitly discriminate against them.

Whites will be discriminated against to make up for the privilege they have enjoyed all of their lives at the expense of the oppressed non-white population.

Get it?

    n.n in reply to JHogan. | April 2, 2021 at 4:12 pm

It started as affirmative action, then liberalized, and progressed as affirmative discrimination (“diversity”).

Ben Kent in reply to JHogan. | April 2, 2021 at 4:54 pm

    Your half right.

AA was meant to integrate Blacks into mainstream society while maintaining the high standards that result for a meritocracy.

Well, Affirm Action failed. But liberals do not want to admit that because it raises questions about the source of the failure (dependence on government handouts and black culture resulting in 70%+ fatherless homes).

But the failure has become too obvious to hide. Especially with Asians having come off the boat with no money and no knowledge of the English language – yet succeeding in 2 or 3 generations – so much that they are turned away from Harvard and other top schools. The success of Asians and many of the Hispanics who ca to the USA in the 1960’s (such as Cubans) give the lie to the notion that Whites hold back minorities.

For liberals – better to find a pretext to drop all standards to the lowest common denominator – then Dems can claim the success of AA and related government programs. Success is assured when you move the goal posts.

Gone from racial discrimination was bad to government racial discrimination.
Got it

Oregon Mike | April 2, 2021 at 4:41 pm

If Rachel Dolezal can “identify” as black, so can I.

I could also “identify” as female, but I’m not going to.

txvet2 in reply to Oregon Mike. | April 2, 2021 at 5:06 pm

Of course. The left insists that you are whoever you “identify” yourself as, ergo everybody has priority for shots simply by claiming minority status.

audax in reply to Oregon Mike. | April 3, 2021 at 2:33 am

I’m identifying as a Lesbian (trapped inside a male body but with a d!ck)….

So racial discrimination is okay in Vermont, right?

    txvet2 in reply to Idonttweet. | April 2, 2021 at 5:08 pm

Or alternatively, you could take the position that they want to use minorities as lab rats for experimental COVID drugs.

I identify as a real African American. That is: I am an American who lived and taught in east Africa for a number of years, speaks fluent Kiswahili (along with a smattering of tribal languages such as Kichagga and Iraqw), and my wife is a beautiful black African lady. Wana-woke wanaonigombeza wende mbali bila kurudi tena.

(Don’t bother with Google translate! The woke morons who created it can’t handle a compound Kiswahili construction like “wanaonigombeza”.)

henrybowman | April 2, 2021 at 8:28 pm

C’mon man! In Vermont that’s what — 20 people? 30? Just schedule ’em all this Saturday morning between 8:00 and 10:00 in the Bethel High School gym, and then let’s all get back to business!

JustShootMeNow | April 2, 2021 at 10:53 pm

I identify as a Vermont Governor, I’ll be there shortly, get out of my chair asshole

And, this idiot identifies as a “Republican.” What a joke. Another Dhimmi-crat wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I’m trying to figure out if there is a problem with people getting the vaccine or refusing the vaccine. The majority of news media stories seem to be that they are worried about people refusing to get the vaccine, but where I live over half of all requests for the vaccine have gone unanswered.

2smartforlibs | April 7, 2021 at 2:17 pm

How is this not racist?

Meanwhile, China is gleefully laughing at the chaos they have sown.
When will someone dare to investigate?
