Profs Say LGBTQ Sex Education Should Begin in Elementary School

“not only are younger children able to discuss sexuality-related issues but that the early grades may, in fact, be the best time to introduce topics related to sexual orientation”

Leftists in education are already heading in this direction. This is probably coming to a school near you.

Campus Reform reports:

Profs argue that LGBTQ-inclusive sex education should begin early, before ‘cisnormative values and assumptions become more deeply ingrained’

Two researchers at Montclair State University claim that “LGBTQ-inclusive” sex education should begin in elementary school.

Eva Goldfarb and Lisa Lieberman of Montclair State University examined studies on sexual education ranging from grade school to twelfth grade. They found that “substantial evidence supports sex education beginning in elementary school, that is scaffolded and of longer duration, as well as LGBTQ-inclusive education across the school curriculum and a social justice approach to healthy sexuality.”

The researchers examined several studies that involved preschool classrooms. According to the researchers, one indicates that “young children are, in fact, quite capable of understanding and discussing issues related to gender diversity, including gender expectations, gender nonconformity, and gender-based oppression.”

Another shows that “4-year-olds expressed an inclusive understanding of marriage and a social justice stance on LGBTQ rights.”

After their review of 218 scholarly articles, the researchers concluded that there exists “substantial evidence that sexuality education is most effective when begun early and before sexual activity begins.”

“This review suggests that not only are younger children able to discuss sexuality-related issues but that the early grades may, in fact, be the best time to introduce topics related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, gender equality, and social justice related to the LGBTQ community before hetero- and cisnormative values and assumptions become more deeply ingrained and less mutable,” said the study’s conclusion.

No, it should not.

“After their review of 218 scholarly articles, the researchers concluded that there exists “substantial evidence that sexuality education is most effective when begun early and before sexual activity begins.””

There are way too many studies of children and sex! This is unhealthy and probably exploitative. The flow of money for this stuff needs to stop.

True. And the more disturbing thing here is the idea that “sex ed” (the traditional birds and the bees variety that was foisted on high schools in the ’80’s) has become “sexuality ed” in which highschoolers are taught about sexual perversions like “fisting” and in which kindergardners are treated to lap dances by transvestites and asked if they “feel” like boys / girls so they can be methodically, medically, hormonally, and sexually mutilated by woke lunatics.

Brave New World was not supposed to be a how-to book.

I’d guess a girl’s normal reaction to the idea of fisting would be disgust.

I have a better idea about a boy’s normal reaction to the idea of anal sex, and it is definitely disgust.

And so I suspect it’s better that kids are exposed to the reality if what homosexual sex is. The old way was to teach “tolerance” and who doesn’t want to be sympathetic and tolerant — and so kids could get sucked in, first as allies, then more …

I’d rather that they know the endpoint and can choose to steer away from it. But I’m open to arguments to the contrary, that this isn’t the result in practice.

In this, woke, world, any child who expresses disgust, will be punished and shamed. If they persist, their parents will also be shamed.

Dissent from the received wisdom of the elites is not to be allowed!

And I argue that these advocates should be tarred and feathered, then run out of town on a rail because they’re perverts and abusers of children.

I have to argue that these “advocates” should first be introduced (or vice versa) to an anal dildo about 15″ in diameter; then we can discuss “sex education.”

If you’re educated parents and you have a child without extensive special needs, you can do at least as well by homeschooling K-5. There are plenty of resources to teach reading through phonics which is the way that works best. It just takes a few years for the kid to have sounded out all the common words enough to know what they look like and sound like, then you’ve got a kid with bulletproof reading skills. The math taught is minimal so you can probably do better at home.
