Kamala Harris Supposedly in Charge of Border But Completely Missing in Action

A couple of weeks ago, Joe Biden announced he made Kamala Harris his point person on the situation at the border. He said she would be able to handle things and answer questions without having to check in with him.
Since then, she has been conspicuously absent at the southern border.
What is she doing? She is visiting all kinds of other places.

Vice President Kamala Harris has been in charge of the ongoing child migrant crisis at the United States-Mexico border, but instead of visiting the ever-increasing number of detention camps housing unaccompanied children, many of which are now far above capacity, Harris will spend the week touting President Joe Biden’s proposed infrastructure plan and touring sites dispensing the COVID-19 vaccine.
On Monday, Harris joined embattled California governor Gavin Newsom in Oakland, California, at a water treatment facility that the Los Angeles Times noted is expected to benefit from the multi-trillion-dollar infrastructure plan proposed last week.
“The trip included a tour with the governor of the kind of water-treatment facility that could benefit from the proposed infrastructure plan President Biden unveiled last week. It includes more than $100 billion for a variety of water projects, including replacing lead pipes and improving groundwater storage in the West,” according to the outlet.
Harris gave a short speech on the importance of “water equity.”
People have noticed her no-show act.

When in September 2019 Biden told illegal immigrants ”you should come” to America, they clearly listened. This is Joe Biden’s problem.
Now it’s Kamala Harris’ problem, too. Two weeks ago, Biden named Harris as his “point person” to address the ongoing surge of men, women and children flooding our immigration system. Given the scale of the crisis – exemplified by children being thrown over walls and the clear potential of a COVID-19 super-spreading event – one would expect the vice president to immediately jump on Air Force Two and get to the border. Right?
Wrong. Instead, she’s joining her boss in refusing to go see the crisis that their reckless, backward policies have created.

In Kamala’s defense, what is she supposed to do, go down there and shut the border? They want this, they want what’s happening, so why would she do anything?

What evidence do you have that proves she “slept her way to the top”?
I see folks here repeat that idea lots, but is there evidence there was a quid pro quo regarding her advancement and her befriending Brown?

You might be right. The point is that she is so inept is not even funny. She will be our President in few months, as planned, topping Obama off of the list of worse President ever. But she learned from the best: ‘Smile and do nothing Obama’. What do we regard somebody who called Biden a pedophile repeatedly, and now is by his side? Political prostitution: way worse than sleeping one’s way up. And for that, there is evidence!
Harris does not like the border because it requires too much vertical time, with few horizontal opportunities. Besides, she is too racist to frolic with illegals.
If only more elected Democrats could follow such an example.

I think Kamala is pissed that Joe Biden washed his hands of the crisis and delegated it to her. This leaves her in a no-win position, and means she would get blamed for the catastrophe instead of him. I think she said, (likely silently, or to her staff alone) eff it, i’m going to do what was already on my calendar. She can say she delegated to ICE and Homeland Security, and let them get blamed instead of her. Remember her chief of staff, right after Joe Biden delegated to her, said something like, “The Vice President is not doing the border.” It’s pissed off passive aggressiveness.
Do you think she is pissed? I think she is hiding. She is totally inept to handle this situation and any other for that matter. May God help America. She won’t.

To be fair, Kamala has been too busy with other duties to check in on the border crisis. As I understand it, she has been spending a great deal of her time entertaining world leaders and foreign dignitaries in the Lincoln Bedroom.

Her cackling is a direct result of her intimate knowledge of the election steal and the role that “border security” played in it. Those kids are a prop. The only kid she ever cared about was the 7 year old who was bused to school to provide her cover to point out Joe’s racism (which she had to let stick in her craw in order to seal Barack’s deal with Clyburn). The cackling is the racism still stuck in her craw and she won’t start crowing until the implementation of the 25th amendment is complete and she can move her newfound love (the desk) into the Oval where she can appoint her VP (likely someone more “woke” than even she herself is).
