U.S. Military Twitter Accounts And Officials Attack Tucker Carlson For Questioning Woke Agenda

If you didn’t think the whole “controversy” surrounding Tucker Carlson’s commentary earlier this week on how the Department of Defense is busy politicizing and feminizing the U.S. military as China makes their military more masculine could get any more absurd, you were wrong.

When last we left you, the DOD was furiously issuing official statements on Carlson’s comments as well as having their spokespeople do interviews on cable news outlets to condemn Carlson and assure perpetually-outraged outraged leftists that they were 100% committed to “diversity”:

But to make matters worse, blue check official U.S. military Twitter accounts and the official accounts of military leaders are actually using their platforms to launch attacks on Carlson as well.

Here are some examples:

The MEF Twitter account appears to know they were in the wrong, as evidenced by their exchanges with multiple people, including Fox Los Angeles reporter Bill Melugin, who noted it was “wild” to see tweets like that coming from an official U.S. military account:

When one Twitter user urged the MEF account to focus on China and not Tucker Carlson, their response was to play the woman card:

That didn’t sit well with Daily Caller associate editor Virginia Kruta, who served in the military while pregnant herself and wrote Friday about how she agreed with Carlson’s comments:

If their focus is to “train, fight and win,” they’re doing a lousy job demonstrating that on their official account.

The irony here is that these accounts are proving Tucker Carlson’s point about the U.S. military’s priorities to a “t”:

Can you imagine how hard Chinese military leaders are laughing at the United States right now?

Something to keep in mind, too, when seeing the tweets from these official accounts is that they would not have gone up nor would they still be up had they not been authorized (or ordered) by a higher power to post them in the first place. That compounds the issue and makes their focus on Carlson even more troubling. Case in point:

A spokeswoman for the Service Women’s Action Network told the Military Times on Thursday that seeing military leaders respond so forcefully to Carlson was “validating”:

“We’ve seen senior military leaders use social media in a completely new way within the past year,” Martina Chesonis, spokeswoman for the Service Women’s Action Network, told Military Times on Thursday. “Seeing senior military leaders address Tucker Carlson’s comments on pregnancy in the military so quickly and so directly is really validating, honestly.”

Oh, it’s “validating” alright, just not in the way Ms. Chesonis thinks it is.

We are indeed screwed if senior leaders in the military are more concerned about being seen as “woke” and politically correct than strong and prepared. Might be a good time to pray that common sense and sanity prevails at some point here before it’s too late.
