Lara Trump claimed Facebook removed a video of her interviewing President Donald Trump, her father-in-law, from her show The Right View.
Trump posted two emails supposedly from a Facebook employee alerting her about the moves taken in response to her interview.
Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms banned Trump from their sites after the January 6th Capitol Hill riots.
Katelyn, a Facebook employee, told employees she saw Lara’s announcement of interviewing Trump on her show. She reminded employees “that content posted on Facebook and Instagram in the voice of President Trump is not currently allowed on our platforms.”
The policy includes “new posts with President Trump speaking.”
The second email from Katelyn informed the employees the company “removed content from Lara Trump’s Facebook Page that featured President Donald Trump speaking.”
Katelyn reminded employees Facebook will target accounts that post content “in the voice of Donald Trump” by placing “additional limitations” on them.
