I am not a conspiracy theorist, but this is way too weird.FBI Director Christopher Wray told the Senate his agency cannot disclose Officer Brian Sicknick’s death, even though his death led to intense coverage of the Capitol Hill riots.It’s been almost two months. Wray cannot provide any answers:
Wray cited an “ongoing” investigation into Sicknick’s death.“I certainly understand and respect and appreciate the keen interest in what happened to him — after all, he was here protecting all of you. And as soon as there is information that we can appropriately share, we want to be able to do that. But at the moment, the investigation is still ongoing,” Wray said at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) asked if that meant the FBI “have not determined” the cause of Sicknick’s death.“That means we can’t yet disclose a cause of death at this stage,” Wray said.Grassley pressed on, asking Wray to confirm whether the FBI has determined a cause of death.“I didn’t say that. We’re not at a point where we can disclose or confirm the cause of death,” Wray said.
Officials cremated Sicknick’s body. He lied in honor in the Capitol Rotunda.
Reports emerged after the riots that someone killed Sicknick by bludgeoning him with a fire extinguisher as he tried to stop people from storming Capitol Hill.
The left used Sicknick’s death to push President Donald Trump’s second impeachment, intense protections around Washington, D.C., and keep the National Guard on duty.

On January 8th, ProPublica reported that his brother Ken said Officer Sicknick texted him the night of the riots about how he had been pepper-sprayed:
“He texted me last night and said, ‘I got pepper-sprayed twice,’ and he was in good shape,” said Ken Sicknick, his brother, as the family drove toward Washington. “Apparently he collapsed in the Capitol and they resuscitated him using CPR.”But the day after that text exchange, the family got word that Brian Sicknick had a blood clot and had had a stroke; a ventilator was keeping him alive.
He died that Thursday night around 9:30 pm, according to the USCP.
