Border Crisis: Smugglers, Cartels Making Millions Off of Human Trafficking

Retired Tucson Border Patrol Chief Roy Villareal told Fox News human “trafficking is a multi-billion-dollar industry.” The data backs him up.

The Sinaloa Cartel is one of the criminal organizations that have profited the most off of human trafficking.

“A lot of these vulnerable populations use their life savings,” said Villareal. “Some are essentially indentured servants and they’re working off this debt for a long period of time. In other cases, some of these migrants are asked to transport narcotics or some form of crime to work off a different part of their debt.”

Now we have overcrowded border patrol facilities and tents. Weird, the left and mainstream media dropped “cages” from their vocabulary.

Villareal and other border patrol officials warned President Joe Biden his policies would cause problems at the border. Former ICE Chief Ken Cuccinelli said anyone could have predicted these problems.

Biden and his officials blame President Donald Trump, but “the Trump administration granted more asylum seeker applications, and at a higher rate, than Obama in his first or second term.”

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) provided this data from February. Yes, this applies only to February 2021:

Cochise County, Arizona, Sheriff Mark Dannels said the Sinaloa cartel handles all the human trafficking in America:

The Biden administration pulled the plug on border wall construction on day one, and Cochise County, Ariz. Sheriff Mark Dannels told “Justice with Judge Jeanine” his policies have only incited more violence.”In our county, we deal strictly with cartel trafficking,” he said. “The Sinaloa cartel – they control all human smuggling in this county, they have control on drug smuggling in this county and we see it. It’s a very violent situation … when it comes to the cartels pushing people through.”Host Jeanine Pirro visited the site in Arizona where border wall construction was halted. The sheriff said it took nearly one year to build infrastructure and roads in his area before wall materials could even be cemented in.”It’s a mess up here,” he said. “It’s in disarray.”

Dannels stressed that Biden must get his act together in the name of national security. Dannels and others feel forgotten:

“The bottom line, Mr. President, is you and I share one thing – the citizens of this country,” he said. “And these reckless and hasty plans and executive orders only serve one purpose – to open up our country for public safety disasters.””We’re in a global health pandemic but we’re being ignored on the southwest border,” he continued. “It’s almost like we’re not part of America anymore. … What I’m seeing down here is total opposite of what the CDC is recommending. … Are we part of this country or are we not?”
