Cuomo Aide Admits They Hid Nursing Home Death Data From Feds, Says Bombshell Report

The Democrats and the media held up New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo as a national leader regarding response to the COVID pandemic Cuomo wrote a book about his leadership and received an Emmy Award for his press conferences.
The nursing home deaths that occurred on his watch have never gotten the attention they deserve but that might be about to change.

Governor Cuomo’s top aide privately apologized to Democratic lawmakers for withholding the state’s nursing-home death toll from COVID-19 — telling them “we froze” out of fear the true numbers would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors, The Post has learned.
The stunning admission of a cover-up was made by Secretary to the Governor Melissa DeRosa during a video conference call with state Democratic leaders in which she said the Cuomo administration had rebuffed a legislative request for the tally in August because “right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football,” according to an audio recording of the two-hour-plus meeting.
“He starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes,” DeRosa said. “He starts going after [New Jersey Gov. Phil] Murphy, starts going after [California Gov. Gavin] Newsom, starts going after [Michigan Gov.] Gretchen Whitmer.”
In addition to attacking Cuomo’s fellow Democratic governors, DeRosa said, Trump “directs the Department of Justice to do an investigation into us.”
“And basically, we froze,” she told the lawmakers on the call.

More than 9,000 recovering coronavirus patients in New York state were released from hospitals into nursing homes early in the pandemic under a controversial directive that was scrapped amid criticism it accelerated outbreaks, according to new records obtained by The Associated Press.
The new number of 9,056 recovering patients sent to hundreds of nursing homes is more than 40% higher than what the state health department previously released. And it raises new questions as to whether a March 25 directive from Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration helped spread sickness and death among residents, a charge the state disputes.
“The lack of transparency and the meting out of bits of important data has undermined our ability to both recognize the scope and severity of what’s going on” and address it, said Richard Mollot, the executive director of the Long Term Care Community Coalition, a residents advocacy group.
Meteorologist Janice Dean lost her elderly in-laws in a New York nursing home last year:

It’s time for Governor Cuomo to find out what people from President Nixon to Martha Stewart have discovered, which is that a cover-up can be punished more severely than the underlying incident. The Governor probably has legal immunity from prosecution for decisions regarding nursing homes, but I suspect that the courts, if New York has the gumption to prosecute fearlessly, may find a way to hold him liable for the consequences of covering data up. Tha NY AG started this ball rolling a few weeks ago. Let’s see if she has the political courage to follow through, and if not, let’s see if anyone else who is not politically constrained to give prominent Democrats a pass has jurisdiction.

Please, this is a nothing burger, politically. The post Trump, poet COVID Cuomo coverup has been in place and running since last summer. The political PTB KNEW that the deaths, related to COVID in NY nursing homes, were fudged long ago. And, tough this looks bad, the Guv will not be held responsible. After all, it was a novel virus being hyped as a an apocalyptic disease and everyone is now crowding under the “we knew nothing, we knew nothing” umbrella for all the misinformation, miscues and missteps along the way. Cuomo did not make this decision in a vacuum. He had is political advisors and his own Fauciesque “science gurus” advising him.
i hate to say this, but Cuomo is as much a victim of the COVID hoax as the rest of us are. I would not be a bit surprised to eventually learn that this “admission” was leaked for the express purpose of keeping the hoax alive to facilitate the continued destruction of this nation. After all, with three vaccines, plunging COVID “infection” and “death” rates and the populous becoming more demanding that society be opened back up, something has to be done to save the COVID “crisis” for political purposes. This article by the AP is dated August 18, 2020 and announces the publication date in October. Cuomo and his publisher could not let anything like deaths due to misfeasance and malfeasance get in the way of producing a best seller to a bunch of morons.

The nursing home deaths were a necessary part of building up the pandemic scare. All of the restrictions that we have in place at the moment were derived from that initial spike of deaths, which were never really questioned as to their statistical significance anyway. Old people dying? Stop the presses! The longer the scamdemic goes on the more people become mentally ill from the constant “impending doom.” They are still managing to claim every death where someone has wuflu as wuflu caused, which is like saying that anyone who has a drink today and later dies did so from alcoholism. The actual number of deaths where wuflu was a significant contributing factor is still under 30K in my estimation. This has been the biggest lie since “your Jewish neighbors are just on a long vacation, move along, nothing to see.”
