YouTube Celebrates “Unthanksgiving” Instead of Thanksgiving

“Unthanksgiving is about acknowledging, educating, and honoring centuries of Indigenous resistance. Coinciding with New England’s National Day of Mourning, Unthanksgiving activates Alcatraz Island, the site of a 19-month occupation by Bay Area Natives in 1969.”

Big tech has become trite and tiresome. Instead of honoring Thanksgiving (a holiday made national holiday by Abraham Lincoln, for crying out loud), the tech giant celebrated “Unthanksgiving” on social media.

Because colonialism blah blah blah.

From YouTube’s official Twitter account:

No mention of Thanksgiving at all. I’m waiting for the originalists to go even further and tell me it’s time to cede Texas to rattlesnakes, cattle, deer, and prairie dogs. Because you know that’s next here.

For a palette cleanser, check out George Washington’s 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation, which when written, declared Thursday, November 26 as a day of gratitude and thanksgiving to our Creator (same as this year!)

If I could figure out what to do with all the saved links I have, I would unYouTube.

Well, Youtube is owned by Google, and when I think of “ungrateful,” Google comes very quickly to mind.

This would explain why Flag Day doesn’t show up on Google holiday calendar anymore. They had to make room for this BS.

It’s a simple algorithm: “If it’s part of white American culture, oppose it.”

You clearly don’t understand the algorithm, although you almost have it right!

It’s not “If it’s part of white American culture, oppose it.”

It’s “If it’s a part of American culture of freedom and respect for the Rule of Law, oppose it.”

Alphabet Corp isn’t happy when anyone loves America, regardless or race or other identity.

What the heck does “activates” Alcatraz Island mean?

By the way, those indigenous people did a pretty good job of trashing the place. Among other things, they poured concrete down all the toilets.

I liked the Indian girl portrait on the butter box.

Butter is pretty much the same by whatever brand name. Now, we buy whatever is on sale by I do look at a certain brand label with disgust and resentment.

Can you catch tuna in the SF Bay?

Guess who is most upset by all of that….the Indian tribes.

It is the same actions that Communists have always used to disappear people and peoples.

And just think, in removing the woman from the LoL packaging they did exactly what the “America Worst” (vice “America First”) crowd complains about whites doing: removing the Native American but keeping their land.

(The background is of a specific patch of land, not just some generic “outdoors” background.)

Worse—I’ve heard that the artist who designed the Land O’ Lakes packaging was at least part Indian by birth. That would be typical woke behavior: protest something very few are concerned about, that denigrates no one, banish from the public eye something a matter of pride to those ‘benefiting’ from the woke crowd’s help, and make invisible one of their tangible achievements. The woke help their beneficiaries at the point of a gun.

An Indian drew her. And I mean a casino Indian, not a telemarketer Indian.

This explains why liberals are so mad and unhappy all the time- they are ungrateful. Truly, those who express gratitude are happier – even in humble circumstances – than the ungrateful. It makes a difference

If those liberals would give thanks to others around them (since giving thanks to God would be too big of a step for them, we’ll make tiny steps first) they would start being happier people.
