Hillary whines she was “born” to be president, “can’t entertain the idea” of Trump winning

It’s like 2016 all over again!During a radio interview, Hillary lamented that she was born to be president and was, “ready for crises and emergencies, and I would have done what you see these women leaders doing.”From The Blaze:

At one point during the lengthy interview, Swisher asked Clinton if she thought a woman president would handle the coronavirus pandemic more ably.Clinton quickly responded by tooting her own horn, saying, “I have no doubt, especially if it were me.”

I was born for that. I mean, that’s why I knew I’d be a good president. I was ready for crises and emergencies, and I would have done what you see these women leaders doing. You listen to the science. You bring in people in an open, inclusive way. You communicate constantly, you make the case by explaining why what you’re doing is in the long-term interests, not only of health, but also, of the economy. Yeah, I have no doubt in my mind at all that I would have stepped up to that crisis.

Later in the interview, when the topic of Trump’s re-election chances came up, Clinton jumped in, saying, “I can’t entertain the idea of him winning.”

“It would cause cognitive dissonance of a grave degree,” she said before adding that even thinking about a potential Trump win would also make her physically ill.

It makes me literally sick to my stomach to think that we’d have four more years of this abuse and destruction of our institutions, and damaging of our norms and our values, and lessening of our leadership, and the list goes on. But there’s no doubt that he would do everything he could to attack and punish anyone who was, in his view, an adversary …… I don’t think he has any boundaries at all, Kara. I don’t think he has any conscience. He’s obviously not a moral, truthful man. So he will do whatever he can to lift himself up. And remember, as I said, he lives with this specter of illegitimacy. He knows more about how he got really elected than we still do. Hopefully, we’ll learn more in the years ahead.

Clinton, who has since endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden, last year reportedly considered running for president again in 2020. Clinton has had a difficult time getting over her 2016 loss, allegedly thinking about a rematch with Trump “all the time.”

The entitlement is impressive. Super gross, but also impressive.

A decade later, and Hillary proved Christopher Hitchens right. Hitchens explained that Hillary was running for “therapeutic reasons.”

“As for Mrs. Clinton, as for all she’s done for us and after all she’s suffered on our behalf, she feels she’s owed the presidency and who could possibly disagree? Her life is meaningless if she doesn’t get at least a shot and one can only sympathize. Unless you think, as I do, that people should be distrusted, who are running for therapeutic reasons,” said Hitchens.

He continued:

“If there was some foreign policy experience or brilliance Hillary Clinton had ever shown, maybe we overlook the fact that she and her husband have never met a foreign political donor they don’t like and haven’t taken from.”

“Look, this is the woman who played the race card on Barack Obama, this is the woman who, if you were for change you can believe in, whichever change it was, you were voting against. This is the woman who’s foreign policy experience consists of making a fool of herself and fabricating a story about Bosnia. This is a woman who, with her husband, have so many fundraising connections overseas — Indonesia, China…”“See if you can bear to read the sort of friendships that a former president is having. It’s undignified to think about it. From the Riady family in Indonesia, to numerous Chinese donors who left this country rather than show up for the hearings, but I don’t know of any such expertise on her part, except her pretense to have been under fire in Bosnia when she had not.”“Actually, when there was pressure on the Clinton administration to do something about Sarajevo, to stop the killing, to prevent the ethnic cleansing, Hillary Clinton moved in hard on her husband and said don’t you do a thing about Bosnia, it’s spoil my wonderful healthcare plan.”“At least on healthcare, she knows enough about the subject to have changed American healthcare for the worst, in her time.”“To remind people at this point of the lowest stage of the Clinton administration when Eric Holder signed off at the Justice Department of the pardon of this fugitive, shall we call him financier, who’d also given a rather large loan that didn’t seem to have been repaid to one of Hillary Clinton’s brothers. Who in turn, with the other brother had gone for a walnut monopoly or was it a hazelnut monopoly in the Republic of Georgia or bits of the caucuses involved in American foreign policy here, plus donations to the Clinton library. It builds up and it goes on. Is this how the president-elect really wants to start?”

Hard to imagine a Democrat more disconnected from the rest of the country than Hillary. Except for maybe Joe Biden.
