Facebook, Twitter ‘Reducing’ the Distribution of New York Post Story on Hunter Biden Emails

Facebook communications guy Andy Stone said Facebook is purposely “reducing” the distribution of the New York Post‘s story on Hunter Biden’s emails.

Twitter is doing the same thing.

By the way, Facebook chose the guy who used to work for the DCCC, former California Democrat Sen. Barbara Boxer, House Majority PAC (which helps to fight for a Democratic majority), and Democratic Rep. Jerry McNerney.

Notice a pattern?

Now, a private company has every right to determine what appears on its website. We also have a right to call out its hypocrisy.

How often have they done this?

So we have one example. Facebook claims it does this with all “questionable” stories that might have misinformation. Therefore, Facebook sends it to third-party fact-checkers so “people can read additional context.”

Is that code for another spin?

Twitter is not allowing people to send or DM the NY Post article.

President Donald Trump’s campaign blasted Facebook’s decision:

It seems odd that the only two known pieces that received this treatment are related to negative stories on Biden.

Facebook has its investigation while the Senate Homeland Security Committee opened an investigation into the emails:

“We regularly speak with individuals who email the committee’s whistleblower account to determine whether we can validate their claims,” Johnson told Fox News. “Although we consider those communications to be confidential, because the individual in this instance spoke with the media about his contact with the committee, we can confirm receipt of his email complaint, have been in contact with the whistleblower, and are in the process of validating the information he provided.”
