Biden Calls Trump a ‘Climate Arsonist’ as Media Suppresses Arson News for ‘Climate Change’

As social media giants suppress news of arsonists, Trump & California forest experts say poor land management is root cause of huge fires.

https://twitter.com/dannydeurbina/status/1305569312841834506?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1305569312841834506%7Ctwgr%5Eshare_3&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Flegalinsurrection.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D328758action%3Dedit

The Narrative Police have been put on high alert, and the tech giants are clearly attempting to minimize the contribution of arson in the West Coast Wildfires that are incinerating millions of acres of the US.

In fact, for the thought crime of posting specifically about one of the arson incidents (and not mentioning climate change in any fashion), my post was hit with a “Fake News” alert from the trolls and social justice goons at Facebook.

https://www.facebook.com/

I assert that this type of stunt is engaging citizens in California, Oregon, and Washington by now permitting them to be fully informed of potential, significant hazards. Everyone in potential wildfire areas, especially in the suburbs, should be on high alert for strange activity, primarily if carried out in black-dressed youths carrying matches and Molotov cocktails.

Of course, arsonists come in all shapes and sizes like this suspect. He is under investigation for allegedly starting seven separate blazes in the Portland area.

A man arrested Sunday afternoon for allegedly starting a small brush fire along Interstate 205 was arrested again hours after he was released from jail after he allegedly started six more small fires, Portland police said.

Domingo Lopez Jr., 45, was cited with seven counts of reckless burning and police said other charges may follow. After he was arrested the second time, at 3:37 a.m. Monday, he was taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Interestingly, I believe people in the suburbs should become much more concerned about this issue. In his most recent appearance, in a cornfield to signify the importance of climate, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden pitched climate change to the suburbs while calling President Donald Trump “a climate arsonist.”

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden accused President Trump of being “a climate arsonist” and charged that if the president wins another four years in the White House, the wildfires raging across the western United States will become more “devastating and more deadly.”

Pointing to the wildfires, as well as this summer’s massive flooding and damaging hurricanes, the former vice president argued that “Trump’s climate denial may not have caused these fires and record floods and record hurricanes, but if he gets a second term, these hellish events will continue to become more common.”

“Donald Trump warns that immigration is threatening our suburbs. It’s ridiculous,” Biden said. “But you know what is actually threatening our suburbs? Wildfires are burning the suburbs of the West. Floods are wiping out suburban neighborhoods in the Midwest. Hurricanes are imperiling suburban life along our coasts.”

So we aren’t supposed to be worried about real arsonists, but we need to be concerned about Trump’s causing “climate arson.” I assert that this is proof the Democrats are desperate to get a message that will scare voters away from Trump, especially those in the suburbs who are concerned about the ongoing riots.

I will point out that the “science” of climate change is based on models. How have the models worked out for a much shorter term problem like the coronavirus worked out? Poorly.

However, more reliable forest sciences show that proper land management reduces the devastation of naturally occurring blazes.

…California’s leading forest scientists say that fire suppression and the accumulation of wood fuel, not climate change, are what’s made California’s fires more intense.

“Climate dries the [wood] fuels out and extends the fire season from 4-6 months to nearly year-round but it’s not the cause of the intensity of the fires,” said US Forest Service scientist Malcolm North. “The cause of that is fire suppression and the existing debt of wood fuel.”

And now a large, well-managed forest appears to have turned a high-intensity fire into a low-intensity one, proving that how forests are managed outweighs the higher temperatures and longer fire season caused by climate change.

“It ain’t over till it’s over but so far it looks as though [Southern California Edison (SCE) electric utility’s] decades of burning and selective cutting in its Shaver Lake forest has paid off, big time,” tweeted Jared Dahl Aldern, a forest historian, on Saturday.

For the time being, everyone should pay attention to suspicious activity in their neighborhoods whether or not the “message” has the blessing of big tech.

I was surprised he used the term Climate Arsonist given that 4 people have been arrested for starting fires in the West. I guess they are just Faux Climate Arsonists.

I looked up CNN to see how they reported the arrests. No mention at all that anyone was arrested but a lot of lecturing that right wingers are “making up” stories about leftists starting fires.

No attempt at reporting the news. Just pure Pravda.

Hurricanes, floods, early snows and wildfires have been happening for millenia. Antifa arson however is a fairly recent occurence in humanity’s de-evolution.

California was settled by whites during a period of relatively wet conditions, which continues to this day, with droughts lasting a few years considered extraordinary. This gives the mistaken impression that California’s climate is at least “moderate,” and that severe droughts are “abnormal.” The climate record, however, shows that California’s “normal” includes periods of drought that last decades.

The truth about drought and wildfires is here:

Not so. It’s “Climate Change.” That allows California to sue the real perps, China and India.

He’s talking to women. What matters is that he seems to mean well.

Sounds like desperation for the Harris Administration bid.

The fires are worse due to the environmentalists pushing no forest management, so debris is left on the woodland floors making fire danger so much worse. Add to it purposeful arson from the leftists who are looking to overthrow the government supported by the leftist politicians, and it makes “climate change” quite a bit moot.

It’s not that there’s no management, it’s the wrong type of management. The folks in charge of forest management have insisted for decades that all fires should be suppressed. This leads to the accumulation of fuel in the forest (most on the ground) that will, at some point when lit either by lighting or match, burst into fire that grows so quickly it can be nearly impossible to contain.

Good forest management allows smaller fires to occur regularly, keeping fuel levels low and preventing the types of fire we see today. Fire is a natural process with which forests have evolved, with many plants relying on fire for their propagation, and many animals (esp. birds) relying on stands of dead trees. This is not rocket science and has been known and understood for a very long time, but the “suppress all fires” types have been in charge for a curiously long time, esp. considering that the lesson has been delivered many times.

Climate Change is the heathen religion of the Democrats. Reminds me of Human Sacrifice. th eAztecs sacrificed people to Huitzilopochtli. Now we have bunch of climate worshipers willing to self immolate and return us to a new dark age. All in the name of science.

Where’s your mask, Joe?

So we aren’t supposed to be worried about real arsonists, but we need to be concerned about Trump’s causing “climate arson.”

Bingo!

And now a large, well-managed forest appears to have turned a high-intensity fire into a low-intensity one, proving that how forests are managed outweighs the higher temperatures and longer fire season caused by climate change.

Now that’s an interesting statement.

If a procedure compensates for a phenomenon, and the phenomenon is imaginary, that’s not evidence that the procedure works; rather, it’s evidence that the procedure has no effect whatever.

Similarly with taking medications to compensate for symptoms of a disease you don’t actually have. The fact that symptoms don’t appear can be evidence that the meds work as intended, or—perhaps more likely—evidence that you don’t have the disease at all.

So if “climate change” is merely a governmental power grab, a get-rich-quick scheme by people like Al Gore, or an apocalyptic cult, then it’s fictional and there can be no “higher temperatures and longer fire season” caused by it. And if the incidence of serious fires in a “well-managed” forest remains unchanged, then there’s no reason to believe that the management did anything at all, since it’s compensating for something which isn’t happening.

A obvious corollary is that if a well-managed forest has fires similar to the ones it would have had if not managed at all, then maybe the West Coast fires are not evidence of poor management. So they must be evidence of something else. The “something else” could be arson and law enforcement’s abject failure to deal with serial arsonists.

A man arrested Sunday afternoon for allegedly starting a small brush fire along Interstate 205 was arrested again hours after he was released from jail after he allegedly started six more small fires, Portland police said.

Really, with “catch and release” law enforcement is basically useless. Maybe those towns which want to defund or ban the police are on to something, even if it’s only to ease a drain on the treasury.

Hey! Who let the bugs out?

Think about this topic critically. Climate change is either happening or it is not. If it is happening, it is either stoppable or not. The “stoppable” probability presumes it is the carbon BS.

If you believed in climate change, you would not only try to stop it presuming it’s man made (long shot to stop it) but also prepare for more fires and all the other stuff.

They only believe in the government control to stop it, not the actual impact of it.

So the entire climate agenda is flawed and just a guise for marxist control.

Climate change is real and constantly ongoing. There are no “climate change deniers.” Is it caused by CO2? Absolutely not. Is today’s climate “optimum,” and, whether it is or isn’t (in fact), who made that decision? There were periods of warmth known as the “Roman Climatic Optimum” and the “Medieval Climate Optimum.” If those were, indeed, “optimum,” our climate now is not. Some historians believe that the cooling at the end of the former helped hasten the collapse of the Roman Empire. During the latter, wine grapes were grown in Britain and the Vikings were able to colonize Greenland (hence the name, because agriculture became possible at places along the coast, the settlements failed when it cooled again).

Both of these warm periods occurred centuries before human activities began spewing CO2 into the atmosphere. In neither event did the Arctic become “ice free,” the glaciers of neither Greenland nor Antarctica collapsed, the polar bears did not go extinct, sea levels didn’t rise catastrophically, and the Atlantic Conveyor didn’t stop conveying. The experiment of “global warming” has been conducted twice during historic times, and neither time was it a catastrophe, as is predicted for the current warming (if it exists). Indeed, they were both periods of plenty (hence “optimum”).

The real BS is not “climate change” per se, but rather the claims that it’s caused by CO2 (it’s not, and therefore isn’t anthropocentric) and that an increase in the average global temperature would be an unmitigated disaster (a claim history proves false).

Didn’t the “Climate change” zealots claim “Global warming” at first?

My local experience is that it’s “cooling”. That has some to do with loggers clear-cutting the hillsides around us – which previously insulated us from the cold coming down off the Olympics and the wind.

Observationally, the sun appears different now than when I was a teen in the 60’s. Then it was yellow, now it’s white. Whether the sun itself or the atmosphere changed I don’t know. With the current “yellow” state of our air in the PNW, probably a change in atmospheric particulates.

One thing I do worry about, if we keep cutting down trees and the leftist-zombies keep torching forests, large swaths of the west coast will become more desert-like without the insulating benefit of trees.

Not a word about the countless, never ending lawsuits filed every time they want to manage the forests and reduce the effects of fires like these.
These lawsuits have been going on for decades and often take years to resolve and by then the problem has worsened or the proposed remedy is no longer effective.
It is now they blame the same government for issues they tried to mitigate in the past.

I’m so old that I can remember that back in the 1970s the McKenzie Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest proposed “pre-commercial thinning” and undergrowth removal in its then-and-now vastly overgrown Douglas Fir forests (with lots of old-growth). This is the area now ravaged by the ~162,000 acre Holiday Farm fire east of Eugene in the Oregon Cascades.

The “environmental community” had a hissy fit and sued to stop it, claiming ridiculously, among other things, that the loggers who would be engaged to do this work might “accidentally” on purpose cut down a tree deemed too large and also “might make a profit” from it.

Now we have a ravaged landscape, three or four thousand displaced residents, one completely leveled town, and one of the most scenic river canyons in the country ruined for a generation or more.

Thanks, guys.

I wonder how the spotted owls and other “endangered species” are doing in the midst of all these fires exacerbated by the enviromental restrictions designed to protect them.

The Friendly Grizzly | September 15, 2020 at 1:53 pm

Better than a Dog-faced Climate Solder.

On the other hand, Joe Biden counts among his supporters ACTUAL arsonists.
