USA Today Trump Campaign Shirt ‘Fact Check’ – That American Eagle Looks Like Nazi Symbol

USA Today is under fire for publishing one of the most biased, ridiculous (ridicule-worthy), and culturally illiterate “fact checks” of all time.  Or at least, given the TDS-addled tenor of the leftstream media in recent years, this week.

The left-wing activists masquerading as journalists at USA Today pounced on the representation of an eagle on Trump merchandise.  The eagle, they breathlessly proclaim, is a “Nazi symbol.”

You can’t make this stuff up.

From the bizarre and laughably ill-informed USA Today “fact check” article:

President Donald Trump’s campaign website recently unveiled a T-shirt that has come under fire because of design similarities between its logo and a Nazi symbol.

The similarity was first noticed, according to Forward, by two Twitter accounts, Bend the Arc: Jewish Action, described as a Jewish progressive group, and the Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump group formed by Republicans.

“The President of the United States is campaigning for reelection with a Nazi symbol. Again,” Bend the Arc tweeted on July 1.

But wait, USA Today has feverishly scanned random Facebook posts to find some random who notes that the eagle is a Nazi symbol.

Several Facebook posts have noted the similarities, as well. One user noted, “Trump is now selling straight up nazi propaganda shirts.”

What the hell?  “One user” is now the definitive source for USAToday?  That’s a basement below the “anonymous source.”  Gee, I found a random loon from Wokeville, USA who said the eagle is a Nazi symbol.  Yay, journalism 2020.

Okay, at this point you might be wondering what kind of illiterate morons are working at USAToday?  Um, the kind that tweet this garbled, illiterate nonsense:

Everything is wrong with this tweet.  Of course.

The “Nazi” eagle is featured on most prominent Democrats’ website, on most cabinet member’s stationary/websites, and of course, on American currency.

For example, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi features the “Nazi” eagle on her website:

The “Nazi” eagle is not a “Nazi” eagle, of course.  The bald eagle is a national symbol for the United States of America and pre-dates the Nazi use of the image.  Eagle or turkey?, once mused Ben Franklin, but whatever his wishes, the bald eagle stood.

But hey, USA Today, don’t let the facts get in the way of the narrative.  “Woke” apparently means “ignorant,” “foolish,” “self-defeating,” and “ridiculous.”

After all, there has to be some payoff for dumbing down America’s education system from K-college, and if lying outright about America and being believed by morons isn’t the goal, what’s the point, right?
