Seattle Trains White Employees to Recognize Their ‘Complicity in the System of White Supremacy’

“We’ll examine our complicity in the system of white supremacy … and begin to cultivate practices that enable us to … show up more fully as allies and accomplices for racial justice,” read the whites-only email invite.

It’s official: Human resources departments have become the latest front in the left’s identity politics culture wars.

Dr. Karlyn Borysenko, a liberal who was mugged by reality in February after she attended a Trump campaign rally in New Hampshire, first reported a few weeks ago that the City of Seattle was holding a training session on “Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority and Whiteness:”

Along with announcing it on Twitter, she included a copy of an email from someone who works for the city who received an invite to participate in a whites-only session in which attendees would “examine our complicity in the system of white supremacy … and begin to cultivate practices that enable us to … show up more fully as allies and accomplices for racial justice.” Read the full email below:

Dr. Borysenko also posted a 30-minute video last month in which she detailed the training documents she’d gotten her hands on. Watch below:

In response, the Discovery Institute’s Wealth and Poverty Center director and City Journal contributing editor Chris Rufo requested public records to find out more about the training presentation. Once he got his hands on the documentation, he posted an eye-opening Twitter thread on some of the specifics that should alarm everyone regardless of political affiliation:

Next up for white employees was practicing “self-talk” to convince themselves of their alleged “complicity in racism” – to “undo your own whiteness:”

Then there was the supposed need to “let go” of certain things like “guaranteed physical safety” and “social status” and the “certainty of your job:”

What happened if an employee didn’t “identify” as white but was not black? Too bad – they were still considered white and privileged, according to the group’s “Assimilation into Whiteness” datasheet:

Rufo went on to note that “the City of Seattle has refused to provide the names of the diversity trainers, the budget for the program, or the video of the session” because apparently city leaders consider transparency and accountability as optional things.

He ended his thread by advising people to reject and expose this type of cult-like indoctrination anytime they saw it:

    All this black stuff shows that blacks have ample amounts of arrogance. BLM reminds me a great deal of Muslims, in that both groups think that they have an inalienable right to rule over others, and both groups are intellectually inferior.

The unfalsifiable nature of the whole concept is telling. They’ve pre-judged you as racist and any objection you offer is just more proof of your bias. (That’s what prejudice is, by the way. To pre-judge.)

    More than a bit of lead has been exchanged over this issue. What do these idiots think the ultimate outcome will be? Actually, they do little thinking of significance, and that is why their lives and culture is what it it is.

Joe Pags interviewed an author who noted that HR at universities and businesses were on the edge of being powerless but with the surge in BLM and “white this or that” recently, they have been given imperial level power… from dumpster to dictator in a few months.

    Be careful, the established Church is Progressive with a Pro-Choice, selective, opportunistic religion, controlled by 1%ers foreign and domestic. We know their reach and their willingness to take affirmative action to “cancel” people who are a threat or otherwise deplorable to their order and causes. Prudent and bold.

The Nazis were the quintessential progressives who indulged diversity (i.e. religious dogma that denies individual dignity and individual conscience) to isolate and persecute Jews. Other cultures normalized similar social constructs under different, often euphemistic, em-pathetic systems of judgments and labels.

When the email referred to the Office of Civil Rights conducting this, was it referring to Seattle’s own Office of Civil Rights? The fact that they think a govt agency dedicated to civil rights can discriminate based on race is beyond weird. And the fact that they believe city employees should take paid leave, or be unpaid while they’re insulted based on their race tells me all I need to know about this program.

We are sooooo sick of this crap. And my family has strong Hispanic, Jewish, Asian members. This is all about blacks that refuse to grow up, get educated and take personal responsibility. Peak woke in action. Hopefully the proponents of this will discover their error in the aftermath of a multimillion dollar jury verdict and a consent decree forbidding this and requiring monitoring by DoJ for future compliance.

If it was good enough for folks in the South who wanted to classify people by race and use that as the basis for discrimination then it’s certainly good enough for Northern race hustlers.

    They will no doubt try to replace whites with blacks. The problem with that is that a very high percentage of blacks are not smart enough. K-12 education faced that problem many tears ago, their solution was to hire non blacks to get the real work done, and put black figureheads in the top jobs.

    When I was a kid in Flint, MI schools, they were considered the best in the country, 60 years later they no longer deserve to be called schools.

    I will be moving out of Michigan within a year or two, to a Red state. Everything Democrats touch turns to shit, more so since Marxists hijacked the party.

What is perhaps the most strange in this Twilight Zone horror story is that those who are pushing this and similar “policies” are white, woke Leftists. The real problem occurs, for example, when the black community, by a more than three to one margin, are against defunding or disbanding the police and yet black voices rising up to fight this notion are essentially nonexistent. When will these people find their courage and their voice?
