One of the two posts of mine that sent some alumni, faculty, and students at Cornell Law School into a rage regarded the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” slogan which has become synonymous with the Black Lives Matter Movement.
On June 4, 2020, I went through, as I have multiple times since 2014, how that slogan, which originated with the Michael Brown shooting by a policeman in Ferguson, MO, was a fabrication, Reminder: “Hands up, don’t shoot” is a fabricated narrative from the Michael Brown case.
