As we’ve discussed, we finally have a date for our first ever Virtual Reader Reception! Join us online Sunday, May 31.
Before the world shut down, we had great plans of continuing to get out and about to meet you. We’ve held reader receptions in Houston and in LA and look forward to being able to do them again. We’ll return to hosting in-person events when it makes sense to do so, but in the mean time, we’d love the chance to “meet” you online.
During the reception, you’ll hear from our ace blogging team, including Legal Insurrection’s publisher, Professor Jacobson. You’ll get to learn a little bit more about us, how we got started, what we do, what we’re up to, and what’s ahead. We’ll also be taking questions!
Professor William A. Jacobson, Cornell Law Professor, President of the Legal Insurrection Foundation and Publisher of the Legal Insurrection Blog, Kemberlee Kaye, Director of Operations and Editorial Development and Senior Contributing Editor of the blog, Samantha Mandeles, Senior Researcher and Outreach Director, Mary Chastain, Legal Insurrection’s Contributing Editor, Leslie Eastman, Blogger Extraordinaire, and Mike LaChance, long-time Blogger Extraordinaire and the man behind College Insurrection, will be in attendance.
Unlike our last two online events, our Virtual Reader Reception will not be live-streamed to the public. It is a closed event. In order to attend, you’ll need to register in advance (you can do so beneath). We will send log-in information the day of the event. There’s no cost to register or attend. Space is limited, so don’t wait!
