Trump Suspends Student Loan Payments and Standardized Testing Due to Coronavirus
“DeVos has directed federal lenders to allow borrowers to suspend their student loans and loan payments without penalty for at least the next 60 days”
This was the right thing to do.

Coronavirus crisis: Trump suspends standardized tests, student loan payments
President Trump said Friday that elementary and high school kids will not have any standardized test requirement this school year as he also announced that college student loan payments and interest would be temporarily suspended.
“We have temporarily waived all interest on federally held student loans. They will be very happy to hear that, and I have instructed them to take that action immediately,” the president said during the White House briefing on the virus.
“Today, [Education] Secretary [Betsy] DeVos has directed federal lenders to allow borrowers to suspend their student loans and loan payments without penalty for at least the next 60 days, and if we need that, we will extend that.”
The president also said the Education Department would not enforce requirements for standardized tests.
