Good one A.F. If the dambicracts aren’t spreading fear they’re spreading something else.

That’s frighteningly accurate, Branco.

This will be in the top five of the year!

I hope you don’t end up regretting that claim. We’ve yet to see how this epidemic of a new virus plays out in countries that will be reluctant to use authoritarian means to control its spread.

Don’t worry, The Coronavirus is no worse then the 14th Century Black Death. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Death If we can survive the Black Death we may be able to survive the Democrats. Bernie Sanders can do no worse then Pol Pot, Mou Se tung, and Kim Jong-un in total the number of deaths from torture, starvation, disease and executions. https://www.brighteon.com/0cb75755-3c25-4b84-9c5f-b38369bc049d

A Center for Democrat Control would be a body that keeps Democrats under control, not one that gives them control.

All Socialist-Democrat established “Centers for” are about advancing whatever it is in the name, not controlling it.

Not only is the CDC spreading fear, but they (and the FDA) are actively obstructing private laboratories from performing COVID-19 tests. The CDC says only they can perform the tests unless the FDA approves a state or private laboratory test protocol. Leave it to the government to f**k things up.

The United States badly bungled coronavirus testing—but things may soon improve

Speed is critical in the response to COVID-19. So why has the United States been so slow in its attempt to develop reliable diagnostic tests and use them widely?

The World Health Organization (WHO) has shipped testing kits to 57 countries. China had five commercial tests on the market 1 month ago and can now do up to 1.6 million tests a week; South Korea has tested 65,000 people so far. The U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in contrast, has done only 459 tests since the epidemic began. The rollout of a CDC-designed test kit to state and local labs has become a fiasco because it contained a faulty reagent. Labs around the country eager to test more suspected cases—and test them faster—have been unable to do so. No commercial or state labs have the approval to use their own tests.

Something just doesn’t sound right about this. First of all, is there a need for thousands of tests? Just yesterday, The state of Washington reported a the 2nd (?) US death followed by a spike in reported infections which were attributed to a change in how tests are conducted.

FORMER FDA Director Scott Gottlieb in another of his daily diatribes against Trump, predicted that reported cases will grow now that the CDC has expanded the number of people tested (was there a need for the testing or was it just the CDC behaving in a panic?

I just don’t get the idea that the messaging accurately reflects what the CDC itself is doing. It’s more about the narrative and who is doing the talking. I have noticed that different reporters select different sources that reflect their own points of view.

So given how low the truly confirmed cases have been, I would say the CDC ground troops have been doing a good job. It’s the political appointees who are messing it up.

Well that’s just it. How can a local physician confirm that a patient does or does not have COVID-19 without a test? Right now, all he can do is take a nasal swab and send it to Atlanta, where the CDC may or may not test it. We’ve already seen one case where they refused to test a sample and the patient eventually was confirmed to have the virus. Without a test, nobody knows if the patient is contagious. This is how a pandemic starts. It’s almost like the Obama holdovers at the CDC and FDA want a pandemic in the hopes of bringing Trump down.

I believe the numbers are being generated to support the panic narrative and conducting thousands of tests just reinforces the appearance of a growing problem.

BTW, the market is up big today on the news that the virus is abating in China. That strongly suggests that the virus is rapidly running out of time to strike big in the US so the fear-mongers are making up for it by building their narrative with little to no data to support it.

Actually, the CDC is doing a good job fighting coronavirus. It’s the political appointees at the top who are dueling with each other and HSA to control the narrative.
