Hundreds of Professors Pen Letter to Congress Urging Trump’s Impeachment

“We are American historians devoted to studying our nation’s past who have concluded that Donald J. Trump has violated his oath”

If there’s one field that we know is politically balanced and fair, it’s American college professors. Right?

Campus Reform reports:

Hundreds of profs pen letter to Congress pleading for Trump’s impeachment

Nearly 600 college professors from around the country signed a letter urging the House of Representatives to impeach President Donald Trump on the grounds that the has “violated his oath” and has a “brazen contempt” for our American government.

The letter, published Monday, had 749 signatories as of Tuesday morning, 584 of whom are college or university professors.

The full U.S. House of Representatives is slated to vote Wednesday on two articles of impeachment against the president. That vote, expected to pass along party lines, will mark just the third time in U.S. history that Congress has voted to impeach a sitting president.

“We are American historians devoted to studying our nation’s past who have concluded that Donald J. Trump has violated his oath,” begins the letter, insisting that the president is guilty of “attempts to subvert the Constitution” that “urgently and justly require his impeachment.”

The historians reference “numerous and flagrant abuses of power” that are supposedly “precisely what the Framers had in mind” regarding impeachment.

“Among those most hurtful to the Constitution have been his attempts to coerce the country of Ukraine, under attack from Russia, an adversary power to the United States, by withholding essential military assistance in exchange for the fabrication and legitimization of false information in order to advance his own re-election,” claim the academics.

As if these academics have any credibility. Their incompetence is legendary and their greed infamous. One simply needs to look at the state of our educational institutions and their low levels of intellectual debate to realize that we can’t rely upon the judgement of these sell-outs.

584 of whom are college or university professors.

Faculty of American colleges number something around 1.5 million. So this gaggle is far less than a tenth of a percent. Down in the noise level. I.e., negligible.

Violated his oath of office? That’s rich. Any politician who pushes gun control violates their oath of office.

Not how it works, professors. So I’m guessing YOUR professors taught you wrong.

This goes beyond being disingenuous. After eight years of Obozo, who was the leader of the most corrupt, criminal, and treasonous administration in the history of this nation, with Obozo violating his Oath of Office and the Constitution on a daily basis, these so-called “professors” want to remove from office Mr. Trump, whose most serious crime has been not being Hillary Clinton? And yet they never said a single word about any of Obozo’s countless crimes and acts of treason as he played dictator for eight years. Pathetic…
