Voters Know the Media Cares More About Impeachment Than They Do

If you have watched CNN or MSNBC over the last few weeks, you know that their coverage has been non-stop impeachment mania. Each new supposed “bombshell” brings giddy anticipation of the end for Trump.

Average Americans are more concerned about the economy, jobs, and the security of their families. They also know that the media cares much more about the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry than they do, according to a new poll.

Unsurprisingly, the findings fall along party lines.

Tess Bonn writes at The Hill:

Poll: Plurality of voters say media coverage of impeachment inquiry is biased

A plurality of voters say that the media’s coverage of the Democratic-led impeachment inquiry into President Trump is biased, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll released on Thursday.

Forty-six percent of Americans said the media’s coverage of the ongoing probe was biased against Trump, compared to 12 percent who thought coverage was actually biased in favor of the president.

A significant portion, 42 percent, said that media coverage wasn’t biased one way or the other.

The results were largely split along party lines: 67 percent of Republicans said Trump is being treated unfairly by the media’s coverage of impeachment, while just 27 percent of Democrats agreed with that sentiment.

Fifty percent of independents sided with Republicans, saying the media wasn’t treating Trump fairly in their coverage of the probe.

Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist points to another, related report in Vanity Fair:

Here’s an excerpt from the Vanity Fair piece by Ken Stern. Emphasis is mine:

Alas, for the Democrats, the promising numbers of late October and early November rapidly dissipated, and polling numbers have reverted to a level more consistent with long-term opinions on President Trump. In the latest Politico/Morning Consult poll, released on November 19, Independents opposed impeachment and removal from office 46% to 39%, a number close to the rolling averages of the last few weeks. It is notable that the poll was fielded after the first public impeachment hearings…

To understand the relative lack of enthusiasm among Independents for impeachment, I took a close look at data from the most recent Politico/Morning Consult tracking poll, a poll in which the Hive had the opportunity to propose questions focused on Independents and their views. The data, along with supplementary interviews, illustrates an electorate that believes the impeachment inquiry is connected to the priorities of politicians and the media—not of ordinary voters—and an electorate confused and dispirited by the nonstop parade of Washington scandals.

This compilation video of people in media predicting the end of Trump for months provides a perfect explanation for the public’s lack of interest:

This one is even more recent:

They just can’t help themselves.

There have been so many explosive bombshells on Capitol Hill this week that I am calling for common-sense bombshell controls.

With all these bombshells going off Washington D.C. should look like the surface of the moon.

Biased? The mainstream media is biased? That is like saying a quarterback is “biased” towards his team winning. Or, Patton was “biased” in favor of the US Army winning battles.

In 2012 the fact was revealed that more than
93.5% of the media were registered Democrats.

Guess they’ve hiddened how much it’s increased since then due to their purges.

The good old days were when you saw communists in the open you could douche them with napalm.

The funny thing is what these idiots don’t seem to grasp is that if they get what they want, Trump out, half of them will be laid off because no one is going to watch Pence TV.

“The walls are closing in around the beginning of the end of the bombshell tipping point!!!”

It’s not just impeachment its everything that attacks the right or Trump. What I want to know is how long are these “voters” going to allow the left to attack on things like Russia, Stormy, Obstruistion, Mueller, Collusion, Emoluments, or Ukraine. How much has this cost America??NTO jsut doloars but good will around the world.

Remember its not Trump. President Reagan was barely sentient. President G.W. Bush had less intelligence than the ape he was frequently compared to. McCain and Romney were both Nazis, until of course they lost and felt free to express their true feelings, at which time they became Saints, elder statesmen, patriots. If Trump loses in 2020, God forbid, he will quickly be rehabilitated and remembered as an unqualified bumbler who was, by a freak of history, elected by bumpkins led to the polls by the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

meanwhile- the DOW and S&P are breaking records of all time highs and UE is at an all time low.

This town needs an enema! And DJT is in the process of administrating the procedure.

If a picture ever cried out: “Put a sock in it,” this one does.
