Joe Biden Has Weak Q3 Fundraising, Even Trailed Mayor Pete

“announced raising $15.2 million in the third quarter of the year, behind some rivals and short of what he raised in the previous quarter”

Joe Biden has released his third quarter fundraising numbers and they are not good. Not only did he raise less than he did in the last quarter, he is trailing candidates who are polling lower.

Alex Seitz-Wald and Mike Memoli report at NBC News:

Joe Biden trails rivals as fundraising totals plummet from last quarter

Former Vice President Joe Biden announced raising $15.2 million in the third quarter of the year, behind some rivals and short of what he raised in the previous quarter of the year.

Biden, a leading 2020 contender, has suffered shrinking poll numbers in recent weeks and the fundraising numbers announced Thursday may further fuel questions about whether he can maintain the sense of inevitably his campaign has sought to create around his candidacy.

The third quarter of the year, which spans from July to the end of September, is typically the slowest of the year, but Biden was outflanked by at least two opponents.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., tapped his small-dollar fundraising army for an impressive $25.3 million haul in the quarter, while Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana, who has become a darling of the left-leaning donor class, posted a $19.1 million haul.

California Sen. Kamala Harris raised less than the former vice president at $11.6 million.

No one expected Biden to pull in a massive haul like Trump and the RNC just reported, but this amount will undermine confidence in Biden’s campaign.

Matt Pearce writes at the Los Angeles Times:

Warning signs for Joe Biden as campaign falls behind with $15.2-million fundraising haul

Former Vice President Joe Biden collected $15.2 million in political donations over the last quarter, his campaign reported Thursday, a sum that places him behind Democratic rivals whom he has been leading in the polls…

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who has started to challenge Biden’s front-runner status after a long and consistent climb in the polls, has not yet reported her contributions. The federal filing deadline is Oct. 15 for candidates to report contributions made between July and September, but campaigns usually release the figures earlier…

The comparatively lower sum is particularly worrying for Biden, who has spent much of his time on the campaign trail fundraising with small groups of high-rolling donors rather than meeting with larger groups of voters who are more likely to reflect the electorate.

Now we’re only waiting for Elizabeth Warren’s numbers. The fact that she has waited this long to release them is probably a pure coincidence, right?

Where’s Hunter now when you need him, Joe?

Hunter? He’s snorting lines of coke in the bathroom, just like always.

Schiff and Co. didn’t realize that in their attempt to take down Trump, they were going to destroy Biden. He’s finished, Warren gets his supporters.

United States government officials often become millionaires during their time in office. “Pay to play” and “Quid pro quo” are two methods we’ve seen in the news lately. diane feinstien’s husband made millions doing business with China as well as on California’s railroad to nowhere. Let’s look at some other very smart business people from another political juggernaut, nancy pelosi.

nancy pelosi’s husband has been blessed with the kind of business acumen to make his family millions. He passed that trait on to his son, paul jr. (paul pelosi jr. is also nancy pelosi’s son).

paul pelosi jr. is a multimillionaire businessman. He was a board member of Viscoil, and an executive at it’s related company, NRGLab. NRGLab did business in… Ukraine.

The democrats love to talk about green energy out of one side of their face, but also love to stuff petroleum $$$ into their pockets by talking to (and working for) foreign companies out of the other side of their face. Video related.

Don’t forget DiFi’s Communist Chinese Spy driver.
He must have made millions too selling U.S. state secrets.

Regarding Nancy’s father and brother….. is that the brother who was caught doing underage girls in his early 20s?

Nancy’s father had a constant bossum companion who was a known Mafia boss…….

Who cares about Joe’s fund raising, what I want to know if he collected a finder’s fee from Hunter for getting all that money for him from China and Ukraine

Crap. I was hoping that the Democrats were going to try the “Nominate a High Functioning, Corrupt, Elderly Alcoholic” plan again. You know, like they did in 2016.

Will he split the Party by having a grudge against that lying sack of Schiff?

What’s well and truly weird is that prominent Democrats have no clue why their party is in real trouble.

The voting base is punishing the DNC, by refusing to give money.

“The committee remains saddled in debt and, as of the end of August, had raised just $59.5 million this year compared to the RNC’s $141.4 million.”

‘You’re making him a further victim’: Dems fume over DNC treatment of Biden

The Politico article cited just above contains an unintentional explanation for the DNC’s problem. Don Fowler, former DNC chair for example, thinks the DNC should be loudly defending the indefensible.

“The DNC should be much more active and vigorous than they have been. It should have been and should now be more even more forceful in its condemnation of Trump,” said Don Fowler, a former DNC chair, who stressed he wasn’t criticizing the party’s current chair, Tom Perez. “They should consider at least putting out a statement pointing out that Biden has served with honor, has done nothing improper, illegal or unethical and that his record on these kinds of matters is essentially spotless and that Donald Trump is just a lying no-good son of a bitch.”

Don Fowler apparently doesn’t care that Joe Biden got caught on tape bragging about stopping a criminal investigation into his son’s company in Ukraine, by threatening to withhold 1B in US taxpayer funds. (There may be worse yet to come, from China.)

    True True.

RE: “What’s well and truly weird is that prominent Democrats have no clue why their party is in real trouble.”

What’s perhaps even worse is all the Democrat government agency employees at all levels – local, state, as well as Federal – are also completely out of touch as the DNC.
