A situation like this should be attractive to potential buyers. The buildings and infrastructure are already there.

The Associated Press reports, via the Hastings Tribune:

Campus of now-closed Southern Vermont College up for sale

The campus of the now closed Southern Vermont College in is up for sale.

WCAX-TV reports the 371-acre campus is listed by TPW Real Estate Sales and Rentals. The listing does not include an asking price.

The listing says the property includes 12 buildings on 371 acres of land. Of the total land, 226 acres of in a conservation easement.

The buildings, constructed between 1911 and 2008, include six residence halls, an administration building and dining and athletic centers.

The school, which held its final commencement last weekend, announced it would be closing in March after falling enrollment and financial troubles.
