Massachusetts: Woman who attacked MAGA hat man now in ICE custody, was in country illegally

Rosaine Santos’ previous disorderly conduct charges now are the least of her problems.

We previously covered another incident in which a person wearing a MAGA hat was physically attacked in public, Woman Arrested for Attacking Man in MAGA Hat at Massachusetts Restaurant:

A young man was minding his own business in a restaurant in Falmouth, Massachusetts this week, when a woman approached him from behind and grabbed his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.

The incident ended with her arrest.

The young man, Bryton Turner, handled the situation perfectly. He remained calm and let law enforcement handle it.

The woman involved in the incident, Rosaine Santos, was arrested by police. But that may be the least of her problems.

CBS Boston reports that Santos was in the country illegally, and now is in ICE custody:

The woman who was charged with confronting a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat inside a Falmouth Mexican restaurant is now in ICE custody. The department said she was in the country illegally….

Falmouth Police charged Santos with disorderly conduct following the incident earlier this month. On Tuesday, ICE took her into custody.

“Deportation officers with ICE’s Fugitive Operations Team arrested Rosiane Santos, an unlawfully present citizen of Brazil, today near Falmouth, Massachusetts,” said ICE spokesman John Mohan. “Santos is currently facing local charges for assault and other offenses. She is presently in ICE custody and has been entered into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts.”

The open-borders crowd is update, Boston 25 News reports:

In a statement sent to Boston 25 News, the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) said:

“It’s unfortunate that ICE has taken Ms. Santos into custody before her case is adjudicated in the courts. ICE interference disrupts our justice system and denies both sides the resolution they deserve.

As you can see in ICE’s own report, ICE arrests of people in Ms. Santos’ situation increased fivefold in the first two years of the Trump administration. That’s a disturbing trend and bad news for our justice system.”

Maybe she should have thought of that BEFORE she attacked the guy.

oh, you couldn’t have written a better script if you had made it up. Pure poetic justice. color me satisfied and hang me on the wall.

Maybe Jussie Smollett should have written her script. He needs a new (post incarceration) career, since he proved what a poor actor he is. Oh wait….I guess he wrote the screenplay for his little hate crime hoax, too ….so I guess a career in writing isn’t in his future either. Maybe, learn to code?

What ICE does with her is another matter.

A few more of these and perhaps the left will reconsider attacking people based on their headgear.

How did ICE get her? Usually they hold off while the locals pretend to handle their part of the business and then let the suspect go, thus evading ICE altogether.

Maybe ICE is finally figuring out how things work.

But more probably, not. It’s still a government bureau, and not particularly good at figuring things out.

tom swift…. How did ICE get her ?

Maybe she was being such a drunken A-hole the local PD said, “Call ICE.”

That is an important question. Turns out that our sheriff, Sheriff Cummings, Barnstable County, is one of the few out of about 14 county sheriffs in Massachusetts who chose that his department partner with ICE. The collaboration is 287(g) and it is voluntary.

Coincidently, his department recently held a public meeting about this very subject. The public turnout was pretty high and divided up fairly evenly between pro and anti. That is saying a lot for lefty Massachusetts!

The 287(g) partnership between local law enforcement and ICE is that once a person becomes involved with the police and winds up in jail, then law enforcement is allowed to both check immigration status and notify ICE.

It is intersectionality of our very own. Intersecting with the law that is. Cop: So, you are illegal, eh guess I’ll have to leave that alone. Cop: You are illegal AND you become under arrest? Well, now that is the intersection at which I’ll get to alert ICE.

And this story is an illustration of this in action.

Another law-breaking illegal alien with a propensity to assault innocent Americans.

No wonder she doesn’t like Trump. He wants to rid the country of her ilk.

Try her, sentence her to prison, upon release brand her forehead as an illegal with a big I, and drop her at the southend of the Americas. If she manages to make it back she will be very easy to identify.

One person like this is not a big deal, 20-30 million of them are a big deal, and 4-5 anchor babies, 45 to 70 million more are an even bigger deal.

I had suggested before that ICE should also look very closely at her family, friends and acquaintances, and deport all of them who are illegal.

Whoops, the just pissed myself laughing a bit.

Beautiful! It looks like the first step in her self-deporting.

I was at a Public Safety Committee meeting yesterday, where they are discussing requiring the Georgia Department of Corrections to post information on the specific number of illegal aliens subject to detainer being held for murder, etc.

The latins were there, the muslims were there… oh, the crocodile tears about the bill!!!

Fortunately, many citizens were there to voice their support and the bill was reported as “Do Pass” from it.

Now to the next hurdle.

Here’s the video.

Brings to mind that old familiar phrase: ‘Karma’s a B*tch’.

Deportation officers with ICE’s Fugitive Operations Team

This implies that she’s already wanted for other offenses, or has prior convictions.

I can see the headlines now: “Woman deported for objecting to Trump.”

Now we are calling illegals “an unlawfully present citizen of” XX. I love the English language!

She will be back in a week but the next time means jail time and then deportation.

can you imagine the demon screech we would have heard if someone had come into the restaurant and tried to pull off someone’s hijab?

If the left didn’t have double standards they would have no standards at all.

This one is interesting as well..a white Democrat lawmaker from Maryland calls her majority black county a “N&&&er district”. But don’t worry. She apologized, so it’s okay.

“tried to pull off someone’s hijab?”

Unwise to do so, many are hideous, inside and outside.

All humans are flawed, but Muslims take the prize for being flawed. Hands down, the worst part is internal.

I think I may have reached peak schadenfreude.

What’s disturbing is anyone opposing the deportation of an illegal resident for attacking a US citizen. I suppose they just want her released on bond, never to return to court.

But I thought these poor people were too scared to even leave their homes and fraudulently vote much less commit a crime?

Lol… perfect

Here’s a quote from Ms Santos (local news source)

Rosaine Santos, a 41-year-old immigrant, from Brazil assaults a US citizen and then comments ““I had a little bit to drink maybe that’s the reason that I couldn’t walk away but being discriminated for so many times in my life, I just had to stand up for myself,” she said. “He’s not a victim. I am the victim.” (????????)

It’s hard to argue with that kind of logic….

I’d love the know the details of Ms Santos story. She’s been here since she was 16. What has she been doing all this time?
(Of course, we’ll never find out)

Some Dem politician is in need of a new nanny.

I had a little bit to drink maybe that’s the reason that I couldn’t walk away

She could have done what the other drunk illegals do—have a nice little drive. Crash & kill somebody on Rt 6 or 28 and get in the papers that way. ICE would still sit up and take notice.

I wonder how many elections she has voted in? I wonder how many more she will vote in after deportation? She is a dem voter because she is a victim!

I am sure the classically trained highly professional journalists with the highest ethical standards are all over her background, voting, welfare, debts, and any criminal behavior.

Now try her, lock her up, and deport her after her sentence.

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha.

A gift that just keeps on giving.

Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Naturalization Act 1996. Check with your local police and sheriff to see whether they are participating.

I thought illegals are here to work and live like the rest of us? That’s the media narrative.

Voice_of_Reason | March 1, 2019 at 5:52 pm

how entitled, brazen, and uppity does an illegal have to be break into our country, then commit a politically motivated assault on a US citizen.

the US political system is none of her damn business and she doesn’t have the right to be here at all, much less assault somebody.

then she has the bolls to narcissistically whine that she is the “victim” here because she was “discriminated” against. the LAW discriminates against criminals, you syphilitic strumpet!

zero sympathy. give her a one-way flight to the Brazilian jungle and throw her ass out at 35,000 feet.
