Tucker Carlson’s Daughter Harassed at Restaurant – Michael Avenatti wants Tucker or others charged for defending her

Man approached teenage daughter and said: “Are you Tucker’s whore? He then called her a ‘f***ing c**t.”

Tucker Carlson is already dealing with the fact that an Antifa mob showed up at his house and terrorized his wife, but now there has been another incident. While dining at a country club in Virginia with two of his children, one of his daughters was allegedly harassed by a patron who made positively vile comments to her.

It was so bad, the man’s membership in the club was ultimately revoked. And now the creepy porn lawyer is “investigating” the incident.

Proceed with caution, the language in this story is reprehensible.

Natasha Korecki and Quint Forgey report at Politico:

Avenatti takes on Tucker Carlson after bar incident involving Fox News host’s children

Michael Avenatti, who was once dubbed a “creepy porn lawyer” on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program, claimed Saturday he’s “investigating an alleged assault … committed by T. Carlson” stemming from an incident at a Virginia restaurant.

The attorney, who is exploring a 2020 presidential run and rose to national prominence by representing porn star Stormy Daniels against President Donald Trump, posted video on his Twitter account Saturday showing Carlson in a verbal altercation at a country club and asks for help in identifying other people involved in the incident.

Carlson, in a lengthy statement provided through Fox News, said the incident began when a man at the club last month verbally harassed his teenage daughter on her way back from a bathroom and called her a “whore” and “cunt.”

He acknowledged that his son then confronted the man and threw wine at him. But Carlson maintains neither he nor his son assaulted the man involved. Avenatti disputed that account, saying it’s an “absolute lie.”

Part of this was caught on video by another patron:

Michael Avenatti is claiming the harasser was the real victim here, and that he was physically assaulted by Carlson and members of his inner circle. Aidan McLaughlin reports at Mediaite:

After lawyer Michael Avenatti said he was investigating “an alleged assault on a gay latino immigrant” by Tucker Carlson at a Virginia country club, the Fox News star issued a statement denying the assault and claiming the man lobbed insults at his daughter.

Avenatti, lawyer for Stormy Daniels and recurring foe of Carlson’s, tweeted out a video on Saturday that appeared to show Carlson in a verbal spat with several people.

“We are investigating an alleged assault on a gay latino immigrant committed by T. Carlson and/or members of his inner circle at a club in VA in Oct.,” Avenatti wrote. “It likely includes underage drinking in violation of VA law.”

Beth Baumann of Townhall has a statement from Carlson:

On October 13, I had dinner with two of my children and some family friends at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia. Toward the end of the meal, my 19-year-old daughter went to the bathroom with a friend. On their way back through the bar, a middle aged man stopped my daughter and asked if she was sitting with Tucker Carlson. My daughter had never seen the man before. She answered: ‘That’s my dad,’ and pointed to me. The man responded, ‘Are you Tucker’s wh*re?’ He then called her a ‘f**king c*nt.’

My daughter returned to the table in tears. She soon left the table and the club. My son, who is also a student, went into the bar to confront the man. I followed. My son asked the man if he’d called his sister a ‘whore’ and a ‘c*nt.’ The man admitted he had, and again become profane. My son threw a glass of red wine in the man’s face and told him to leave the bar, which he soon did.

Immediately after the incident, I described these events to the management of the Farmington Country Club. The club spent more than three weeks investigating the incident. Last week, they revoked the man’s membership and threw him out of the club.

I love my children. It took enormous self-control not to beat the man with a chair, which is what I wanted to do. I think any father can understand the overwhelming rage and shock that I felt seeing my teenage daughter attacked by a stranger. But I restrained myself. I did not assault this man, and neither did my son. That is a lie. Nor did I know the man was gay or Latino, not that it would have mattered. What happened on October 13 has nothing to do with identity politics. It was a grotesque violation of decency. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.

It’s not clear from these reports if the “gay latino immigrant” is actually being represented by Avenatti or if Avenatti has just found another controversy into which he can insert himself.

I would not be surprised at all if this entire affair was a set-up from the beginning. The CPL has probably never gotten over his disastrous appearance on Tucker’s show.

My sons or I would have beat the man to a sticky pulp.

Chivalry is a VERY useful code.

LOL. Tucker should bring as many suits and counter suits as can be brought and then get a judgement against Avenatti and his client to pay all legal fees.

To attorneys here, how does someone with such a shoddy legal history keep his ability to practice? I am referring to the business side and having judgements against him for payments.

If you look at the history of MANY high-profile trial attorneys, you’ll find they are very controversial, and many have very shady reputations. Look up John O’Quinn, one of the most successful trial advocates in Texas history, and a really despicable person.

casualobserver in reply to Ragspierre. | November 11, 2018 at 12:56 pm

I guess I see a difference between being despicable or just an a-hole and not conducting your legal business to some standard, especially if you are breaking laws (associated with finances). Perhaps it hasn’t been proven that he has violated laws, yet. And you can run a shoddy business in this country, too.

Winning is all that counts. Shady, corrupt and despicable lawyers are lauded for their successes…. and emulated.

Lest we forget…. Kavanaugh was to be denied, in part, for throwing an ice cube at someone in a bar. Tossing wine in someone’s face… the horror!

Ragspierre in reply to alaskabob. | November 11, 2018 at 1:50 pm

“Shady, corrupt and despicable lawyers are lauded for their successes…. and emulated.”

By some, I suppose. Not by me or the Prof.

Some of the best people I know are lawyers. You’d be proud to be in their company.

LOL. Michael Avenetti also implies that honorable men associate with him.

Do you mind holding up a second till my popcorn is ready? I would like to hear you humble brag more about Chivalry.

Good for Tucker for standing up for his daughter!

This behavior will not end until the perpetrators have to pay a heavy price.

I don’t know what the law is on “fighting words” in Virginia, but I think a lot of people would have cheered if Tucker had beaten the cr@p out of this POS.

I’m not seeing the right video am I? Because the one I watched was very tame.

Sure it didn’t show the wine being thrown in the guys face but where’s the other part of this assault and battery? On a gay Latino minority no less?

How does this huckster of a lawyer actually think he’s accomplishing anything?

Bring a “Hate Speech” chage and hang them with their own rope. They will not hesitate to hang you with a real one…..

I want to see one of these brave warriors go after someone like Ted Nugent.

“I’m not seeing the right video am I?”

No, I’ve got the one that shows the assault.

Michael, if you’re reading, videi is yours just meet me at Sports Authority in the baseball aisle near the baseball bats.

Avenatti, fresh off his last warlock hunt… #HateLovesAbortion

Could throwing wine constitute battery? But they have the fighting words…

This was definitely a set up. A “gay Latino immigrant?” You’ve got to be kidding me. How hard did Avennati have to look to find an actor with that much “intersectionality?” Yes, I’m sure you run across that combination at exclusive D.C. area country clubs all the time. Three victim groups!

I’d launch my own investigation to find out how long this freak had been a member, whether he had prior contact with CPL, whether he had misrepresented himself to gain membership, or whether he was in financial difficulty and reached out to CPL to agree to this stunt for promise of financial gain, etc.

I don’t care how “marginalized” this gay latino immigrant feels, he’s a scumbag for calling a 19 year old for horrible names.
Well, at least the country club showed some guts and revoked the guy’s membership.

“…an alleged assault on a gay latino immigrant” by Tucker…”

Repulsive intersectionality BS: Don’t attack your political enemies without it.

No one cares who or where this cowardly woman-hater shoves his junk to get his jollies.

I do care if this cowardly woman-hater is an illegal immigrant or not.

I also don’t care if Tucker did assault this cowardly woman-hater. I would’ve smashed a bottle across his foul mouth for insulting my daughter.

What possible relevance is it that the scumbag is a “gay Latino?”

All Avenatti did was denigrate gay Latinos….

Last I heard Avanetti was trying to scam Democrats out of political donations.

caseoftheblues | November 11, 2018 at 1:29 pm

Gay, Latino,Immigrant….that’s supposed to make him untouchable whatever he did and we all are supposed to cower and apologize….yah those cards have pulled out and played so often they are ratty and unreadable…nobody cares anymore. Gay, Latino immigrants are just as capable as being hate filled intolerant bigots as anybody else and just as likely to break the law ….we will just judge the guy in his actions the rest of that info you want front and center just doesn’t matter.

Were the people who terrorized Tucker’s wife and vandalized his home arrested?

My son threw a glass of red wine in the man’s face and told him to leave the bar, which he soon did. […] I did not assault this man, and neither did my son. That is a lie.

These two statements contradict each other. His son did assault the man. And he was right to do so. There’s not a jury in the county that would convict him for it. But it was an assault.

The video shows a man, who I assume represents the club’s management, saying “there’s no excuse for violence”. I guess the club eventually realized that that’s not always true, because Carlson Jr remains welcome there while the foul-mouthed “victim” is not. Which is exactly as it should be.

alaskabob in reply to Milhouse. | November 11, 2018 at 1:53 pm

Does the assault with the glass of wine have weight on whether it was an expensive vintage? In this case, the cheaper the better. Oh for the good old days when he could have been introduced to a bottle of Dom Perignon.

I see “civility” has returned to the Democrat Party just as Hillary predicted.

If the son threw the wine in self defense, he did not assault anyone.

The wine wasn’t thrown in self defense. I think the idiot deserved the wine in the face but we need to stop with the silly defenses of Tucker and his son. His son threw wine in someone’s face when all that person was doing was being a Grade-A @$$hole. That is an assault under the law. I wouldn’t convict him of it but it’s still an assault.

There is no claim that it was self defense. He went after the person who had harassed and insulted his sister. Good for him. But there’s no question that he was the aggressor, was in absolutely no danger, and had no need to defend himself or anyone else.

MarkS in reply to Milhouse. | November 11, 2018 at 5:14 pm

I must disagree. There are juries in Virginia and the District of Columbia that would convict Tucker Carlson’s son

I doubt the man was an (illegal) immigrant. He used profanity in a flawless American accent.

Why this turd wasn’t immediately thrown out is beyond me. We are getting well past the point of polite responses to this aggression from the left. Don’t these idiots know many of us are armed? Someone is going to learn the hard way.

Welcome to the losers of the GOPe.

Milhouse in reply to MAJack. | November 12, 2018 at 10:54 am

He wasn’t immediately thrown out because the club first had to find out what had happened. If they’d reacted only to what was apparent, what was apparent at the time was that this person was sitting in the bar minding his own business and Carlson Jr attacked him; had the club made a decision on the spot there’s no doubt it would have expelled the Carlson family and comped the jerk’s meal. Thankfully it took the time to investigate, and the result was the opposite.

Unfortunately Carlson is being sucked into a game of NewSpeak, and the Lefties are hard to fight that way; it’s home territory for them.

He’s claiming that vile words and gratuitous insults are attacks, but that throwing something at the offender is not. A weak response; no better than garden-variety Leftoid-syle distortion of the English language—the Left’s bread-and-butter, and they’re prepared for it. One of the Left’s most useful weapons is the conflation of words and actions, though of course only when convenient to them. Criticism—or indeed any statement they don’t like—is “violence”, but violent physical attacks by them are just “protests”. But for them, this is a way of life; it’s not something usefully employed by normal people as an ad-hoc response to specific attacks.

The Left’s assault on its enemies—i.e., all intelligent life on the planet—is proceeding as predicted. Leftoids know how to attack even the most uncompromisingly hardassed opponent—where he’s vulnerable. Threaten his children, scare his wife, harass his mother, kill his dog. Women and children are most everyone’s weak point, and that’s where the attacks will be. It’s easily done, and almost impossible to defend against.

As one who routinely carries in VA, I would NEVER risk losing my SYG protections by engaging someone like that in any way. IANAL (for which I am grateful), but in VA, SYG is only available if you have not contributed to the affray in any manner (to quote our resident self defense expert). I’ll take care of my daughter and let the manager (and cops if needed) work it out. The adolescent testosterone high isn’t worth 20 years if the fight goes south. It seems to me that this a text book example of when you should learn to eat crap if you go armed.

healthguyfsu in reply to VaGentleman. | November 11, 2018 at 5:17 pm

As a fellow Virginian, I disagree. You are certainly within your rights to stand up for yourself and confront this “man”.

You shouldn’t escalate it; for that, you are correct. However, this guy baked himself a nice shit sandwich and deserved to eat it, even if only figuratively.

VaGentleman in reply to healthguyfsu. | November 11, 2018 at 5:34 pm

If I engage him and he escalates it, then where do I stand? I still think the smart move is to back away. Especially in this case where the insult occurred, she returned to the table and reported it and then pater et filius engaged him. The original incident was over and they started a new one, becoming the aggressors – not much innocence there. Report the incident to management.

snopercod in reply to VaGentleman. | November 11, 2018 at 6:39 pm

You’re thinking like a lawyer. No man is going to call my daughter a whore and get away with it.

VaGentleman in reply to snopercod. | November 11, 2018 at 6:57 pm

Or it could be that I’m thinking like a mature adult and not a testosterone fueled adolescent; that I am old enough to realize that I have obligations to my family that go beyond gratifying my ego. That the lost wages, legal expenses, and potential jail time far outweigh any satisfaction I may get from busting his chops. That my kids deserve an education and my wife deserves a retirement and that those things and more are at risk if I act stupid. That could be what I’m thinking about; that when you’re about to do something that could put at risk legally, it’s probably a good thing to think like a lawyer.

CaptTee in reply to snopercod. | November 12, 2018 at 10:40 am

“Hitting him in the wallet” will make him wish you had punched him instead.

Milhouse in reply to snopercod. | November 12, 2018 at 10:57 am

Hitting him in the wallet for what? There’s nothing Carlson could have sued him for.

Arminius in reply to snopercod. | November 12, 2018 at 7:54 pm

          Not true, Milhouse.

          https://www.virginiadefamationlawyer.com/virginias-insulting-words-statute/

“…To recover in a private lawsuit brought under § 8.01-45, the words used must not only be insults, but they must be fighting words that “tend to violence and breach of the peace.” The United States Supreme Court has defined fighting words as “those personally abusive epithets which, when addressed to the ordinary citizen, are, as a matter of common knowledge, inherently likely to provoke violent reaction.” Cohen v. California, 403 U.S. 15, 20 (1971). The Supreme Court later expanded the definition by clarifying that provocation of “immediate” or “imminent” violence was required before mere insults could fall outside the protection of the First Amendment. N.A.A.C.P. v. Claiborne Hardware Co., 458 U.S. 886, 928 (1982).”

I’d say the fact the dirtbag brought an immediate reaction from Tucker Carlson’s son proves these “fighting words” fall outside the protection of the First Amendment.”

Hopefully Avenatti is also unaware that some southern states such as VA have such statutes, and that they have been tested and the SCOTUS has found them constitutional. Because if, as I suspect, Avenatti was in on the scheme he’d be equally liable.

Truly, I’d rather have a pedophile as a neighbor than Michael Avenatti.

Question for the legal eagles:
If someone plans a provocation like this, and in response to the provocation the person executing it is struck a blow and drops down dead, is the person who planned the provocation in any way liable for the death?

Milhouse in reply to DaveGinOly. | November 12, 2018 at 11:06 am

The jerk didn’t break any laws, so whoever put him up to it can’t have broken any laws either. Thus they could bear no criminal liability for what happened as a result.

it really is a shame that duelling is no longer legal–would be a pleasure to challenge some ass like this punk in the bar or an even bigger ass like avenatti–step outside, choose weapons and put them out of our misery–right then and there

Avenatti has an ass-kicking coming and I expect for him to open his own can of whoop-ass with his sharp tongue and dull intellect.

The man exudes of lowlife trash, a used watch sales hustler in a bus station. Shifty, sifty and slimy. It’s a wonder that Gloria Allred has not already swooped to his side. Who knows, she might be his mother.

Wouldn’t it be better if we gave less publicity to a total scumbag like Michael Avenatti? For the same reason that one tries to keep the names of public shooters and other perpetrators of violence out of the press—they want the publicity, and others may imitate them—we should want to keep this serial creep’s name from being bandied about. Give him the silence he so richly deserves.

Oh, if he’s a gay Latino immigrant, then he must be some kind of hero, because intersexionality.

Looks like Avenatti has found the perfect VP for his presidential candidacy.

Yourightwingnightmare | November 12, 2018 at 6:00 am

Thats hilarious. Come on down here to Texas and say that to my daughter…or to anyone’s daughter. I guarantee the surgeons hired to reassemble that fella had better be skilled at doing jigsaw puzzles…you Yankees do some things very well (pot roast for instance) but down here in the South we’re still quite happy to be overprotective, mildly sexist, chivalrous barbarians.

Anyone who believes that that jackals has the legal right to speak that way to a young girl, but that her father o r brother or indeed any man, doesn’t have the right to educate that slimeball with a decidedly unfriendly uppercut…is a subhuman idiot.

It is really unfortunate that no one has shown the “porn attorney” where Jimmy Hoffa is located……This guy is OUT OF CONTROL, A MENTAL CASE, WHERE ARE THE DOCTORS TO PUT THIS GUY AWAY……

amatuerwrangler | November 12, 2018 at 4:40 pm

The commentary here best serves to show why one might expect to find true justice for people like this in a biker or cowboy bar, rather rather than in a Virginia country club. In either of those two oft-maligned establishments, by the time Tucker’s daughter told him what had happened and Tucker and son got to the bar, they would have found that the matter had been settled and only a trail of drag marks and blood leading to the door remained of the offender.

At this point in time I think I would just start laughing at these people – you want to see me being upset, well that’s too bad.

I would just laugh at them.

DouglasJBender | November 13, 2018 at 8:12 pm

If the wine was expensive and tasted good, the guy should have been thankful.
