Ted Cruz is holding a massive campaign rally in Wichita Falls, a tiny town in north Texas, just inside Texas’ Oklahoma border.
The rally was scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM CT. Cruz and Don Jr. are expected to take the stage around 4:00 PM CT.
At the last minute, the Cruz campaign was scrambling to find more space after the event sold out.

Capped at 1,000, the free political rally featuring U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and Donald Trump Jr. at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Multi-Purpose Events Center was sold out Tuesday morning, according to Eventbrite.But organizers are negotiating with MPEC for more space and say no one will be turned away, said Jackie Spragins, president of the Wichita County Republican Women, in an email sent out at 9:26 a.m. Tuesday.“I think we can fill up Kay Yeager Coliseum,” Spragins said.She encouraged people to keep trying to register.The tickets are free through Eventbrite at this link, but the event is listed as “sold out” and provides no way to register.
