Georgetown Prof Who Called for Republican Deaths Placed on ‘Research Leave’

“while we teach diplomacy as a subject, we expect diplomacy as a community”

She got off easy. In a sane world, she would have been dismissed.

The College Fix reports:

Professor who called for Republican deaths placed on ‘research leave’

The Georgetown University professor who tweeted for the deaths and castrations of Senate Republicans during the height of the Brett Kavanaugh controversy has been placed on a “research leave.”

Professor C. Christine Fair reached the “mutual” agreement with the dean of Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service to “go on research leave effective immediately,” according to a tweet from The Georgetown Voice.

The decision was announced in an email to School of Foreign Service students Friday. It was made in order to “prevent further disruptions to her students and out of an abundance of caution for the security of our community,” according to The Voice.

Hellman also said in the email that “while we teach diplomacy as a subject, we expect diplomacy as a community.”

So you rewarded her with a paid vacation?!
It’s time to get ALL tax dollars out of colleges and universities. Privatize immediately. Need a student loan? Then go to your bank or credit union.

Wonder what would have happened had a student tweeted something similar about various ethnic groups or “genders” and it got reported to the school. Just kidding, we all know what would have happened – they’d be out on their asses.

In other words, she overstepped a bit and became a public liability so they pushed her into a back room for a couple of years until people forget.

She should be fired.

BillyHW, Not only should she be fired & stripped of her pension, but the Dean and President of Georgetown University should be O-U-T.

Georgetown University: Make yourself scarce until people forget about you. Oh, and here’s your paycheck.
