I wish it weren’t so dead on. That’s nothing against AF Branco: I just wish what used to be a major news organization was not involved in a full-throated support of race prejudice.
But now we know something true: The people who think of themselves as our coastal elites and rightful dictators of our opinions are out of step with both flyover country and our traditional American ideals. The whole rest of the country still believes in equal rights under the laws and due process of law. The New York Times officially does not.
Its always nice when current facts confirm my decision to cancel my NYT subscription years ago. On the other hand, I never really thought the NYT could become more biased and despicable than it was when I cancelled my subscription. On that question, I was wrong. One of life’s little disappointments. 🙂
