The stalemate. The media thinks this all makes them more sympathetic and therefore hurts Trump. Trump sees this as a way to keep the public’s opinion of the media lower.
Truth is probably in between. The low view of the media is probably not that affected by his attacks and constant highlighting in speeches and naturally lowering because of their 90% negative and often contrived (fake?) coverage. And Trump probably suffers with some demographics (like suburban women) the longer he looks excessively petty.
Jim Acosta is like the class clown in the third grade: preening and constantly seeking attention, cutting others off and speaking out of turn and cries like a baby when anyone takes him to account.
I have so much respect for Sandra Huckabee Sanders and her ability to handle these jerks. I would most definstely lose my temper. One word of advice – cut down on reporter access. They don’t need so many press briefings if all they’re going to do is grandstand.
