Rachel Dolezal Hit With Felony Theft Charges, Accused of Welfare Fraud

“Authorities say Dolezal illegally received $8,747 in food assistance and $100 in child care assistance from August 2015 through November 2017.”

Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who turned the social justice world upside down by claiming she self-identifies as a black woman, has been slapped with felony theft charges in a welfare fraud case.

Dolezal, who changed her name to Nkechi Diallo in 2016, was charged with welfare fraud, perjury, and false verification for public assistance.

Fox News has more:

The charges against Dolezal, who changed her name to Nkechi Diallo in October 2016, were first reported by KHQ-TV.

According to court documents, investigators with Washington state’s Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) started looking into Dolezal’s finances in March 2017 after the publication of her autobiography, “In Full Color: Finding My Place in a Black and White World.”

DSHS investigator Kyle Bunge said Dolezal had claimed that “her only source of income was $300.00 per month in gifts from friends.” However, the department found that she had deposited nearly $84,000 in her bank account between August 2015 and September 2017 without reporting it.

According to the investigation, the money came from sales of Dolezal’s autobiography as well as “the sale of her art, soaps, and handmade dolls.”

Authorities say Dolezal illegally received $8,747 in food assistance and $100 in child care assistance from August 2015 through November 2017.

Dolezal did report a “change of circumstance” to the state agency, saying she did a one-time job in October 2017 worth $20,000, court documents said. The DSHS report says Dolezal told investigators in April that she had “fully disclosed her information” and declined to answer further questions.

And from KHQ:

According to the court documents, “The state of Washington seeks prosecution and restitution in this matter. In addition, the Department requests Nkechi Diallo be disqualified from receiving Food Assistance for at least a 12 month period for breaking a Food Assistance rule on purpose. This is known as an Intentional Program Violation.”

When you lie about one thing a lot, it turns out lying about other things becomes easy.

Charges must be due to racism (sarc)

Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see…

Diversity card. That said, her color, identity, and mind are confused.

Hunh. Maybe justice is a thing after all.

She ought to thank her non-existent gods that stupid and ugly aren’t crimes.

Between whore stormy daniels getting the key to the city of west hollywood, hillary clinton getting harvard’s ‘impact’ award, and obama getting a nobel prize for absoutely nothing, why not give this lunatic all three awards?

That woman is too old to play pretend.

You guys don’t understand…it was Rachel Dolezal who made all that money…Nkechi Diallo…was broke!!

I have to wonder if the woman is mentally ill. If I were the judge (which I could never possibly be) I would seriously consider ordering a mental health evaluation before trial.

She was just keeping it real…

She’s just doing what she was pretending to be.

Who can blame her? Self identifying worked for Elizabeth Warren, why not Rachel Dolezal. Oh, I forgot. Two different justice systems. Never mind.

Whats the song where the singer talks about shes So Ugly? Because this one is really ugly? I found it.

Jimmy Soul – If you wanna be happy – YouTube

It also turns out that there is a rap version, that might be more this woman’s speed. I have this very rapid reflex of rap the minute it starts. I see nothing redeeming in rap, foul gutter stuff.

She was caught because she pissed off the wrong people. Her crimes are so minor on the scale of Washington state welfare fraud, that normally she would never be noticed. Or if noticed it would be settled with a letter.

They have damn few investigators and thousands of fraudulent recipients every year that pull in just as much. Worse, they have merchants taking ebt cards for liquor, smokes, gas, just about everything but lottery tickets. Those guys are seriously robbing the system but you never hear of them getting it.

She made the wrong enemies and they need to set an example of her.

i wonder if the Netflix documentary on her triggered this?

Could be…if you’re gaming the system it’s probably a good idea to keep a low profile…and being the subject of a doc is not the definition of “low profile”!!!!

Whomever was her DSHS office administrator probably got a phone call regarding a client with big public book and a netflix episode. They can put up with fraud and inefficiency, they do it every day but embarrassment never sits well with a petty bureaucrat.

Well, since she does self-identify as a black woman, is she attempting to live down to a very ugly racial stereotype?? This woman strikes me as quite the racist.

She has worked really hard to gain acceptance by blacks.

Perhaps after she completes a short prison stay, she will become a political adviser for Hillary 2020!

What? You mean it’s a crime that she’s just trying to fit the stereotyped “black welfare queen?”

Time to drive off the cliff in Mendocino.
