Left Wing Group Gives Harvard Medical School a ‘Racial Justice Report Card’

“White Coats for Black Lives”

Medical science and saving lives has nothing to do with social justice. Hopefully, the folks at Harvard Medical School laughed this off.

The Washington Examiner reports:

‘White Coats for Black Lives’ issues racial justice report card to Harvard Medical School

Harvard Medical School just received its first ever “racial justice report card,” receiving a score of B-. The unconventional assessment was done by a group called “White Coats for Black Lives.”

The group clarifies that the report card should be utilized as a resource for “justice-oriented medical students,” and aims to engender an “anti-racist environment” at Harvard, and presumably other prominent medical schools across the nation as well.

The organization evaluated racial justice at Harvard Medical School using 15 different metrics, largely correlating around issues regarding underrepresented minorities on campus.

The group states that certain Harvard Medical School students “with troubling racist histories are publicly celebrated” and that further focus on “public artworks and monuments” is needed. They also dinged the medical school because there isn’t any “publicly available information about grade disparities at Harvard.”

Other institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson University, and Yale each received C’s on their racial justice evaluations.

These anti-revolutionary acts indicate that reactionary, bourgeois thinking still needs to be rooted out, to promote the greater good of the people and move ever closer to the ultimate triumph of communism over capitalism!

Did I do good, Comrade Commissar?

When I am undergoing open hearth surgery, I will be comforted to know that my surgeon was picked for the job primarily because of affirmative action and his commitment to racial justice. (sarc)

What could possibly do more to improve the quality of a medical school’s graduates than removing a few (OK, maybe a lot of) public artworks and monuments?

Just as “right-sizing” academic standards until group quotas are met will surely improve the quality an quantity of medical services delivered to all. Including those racial and other minorities, of course.

Surely the race, gender, and ethnicity of your physician is more important than mere medical proficiency? For racial justice must be served!

Even if it, well, kills a few patients. They died for a good cause, didn’t they?

I hope Hopkins got an “A” in not giving a F… I would expect nothing less. IIRC, every time the subject came up, the response was cough, Ben Carson, cough. 😉
