Harry Reid Undergoing Pancreatic Cancer Treatment

Had surgery in Baltimore.

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) is undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer in Baltimore, MD. From Politico:

“His doctors caught the problem early during a routine screening, and his surgeons are confident that the surgery was a success and that the prognosis for his recovery is good,” Reid’s family said in a statement Monday. “He will undergo chemotherapy as the next step in his treatment. He is now out of surgery, in good spirits and resting with his family.”

Reid, 78, is currently co-chair of the MGM Resorts International Public Policy Institute, along with former House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio). He’s also still in frequent contact with some Democratic senators and involved in day-to-day Nevada politics.

The Nevada Democrat left the Senate at the end of 2016 after serving for 30 years in the chamber, 12 of them as Democratic leader. He was succeeded by Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), who said that he spoke to Reid’s family on Monday and that “it seems [Reid’s] operation went well.”

Prayers for you, Senator, and your family!

My, my, birds of a feather flock together.

He’s a goner. Good riddance.

I have seen a number of people, friends and colleagues, quickly expire from pancreatic cancer, in every case they died within two to six months.

Oh, how awful! /sarc

OK, No matter what you think of his politics, etc….please pray for him….there is no cure for this cancer and the suffering should not be wished on any American…I just lost a good, Patriotic friend to pancreatic cancer….it was relatively fast paced, really not treatable…suffering will be terrible, although brief…but you would not wish it on anyone either…except a few terrorists I can think of….

Well, ‘bye!
