New Yorker Drops Ryan Lizza Due to Alleged Sexual Misconduct

Lizza “dismayed” the publication described “a respectful relationship with a woman” he dated “as inappropriate.”

The New Yorker has cut Ryan Lizza over alleged sexual misconduct:

CNN has provided this update:

Lizza has released this statement:

Yashar Ali has tweeted out a statement from the litigation firm that represents Lizza’s accuser. They insist it was not a respectful relationship:

Back in July, Lizza’s interview with then-White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci led to his ouster after only ten days on the job. Here’s an excerpt from the crude interview:

I asked him why it was so important for the dinner to be kept a secret. Surely, I said, it would become public at some point. “I’ve asked people not to leak things for a period of time and give me a honeymoon period,” he said. “They won’t do it.” He was getting more and more worked up, and he eventually convinced himself that Priebus was my source.

“They’ll all be fired by me,” he said. “I fired one guy the other day. I have three to four people I’ll fire tomorrow. I’ll get to the person who leaked that to you. Reince Priebus—if you want to leak something—he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.” The issue, he said, was that he believed Priebus had been worried about the dinner because he hadn’t been invited. “Reince is a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” Scaramucci said. He channelled Priebus as he spoke: “ ‘Oh, Bill Shine is coming in. Let me leak the fucking thing and see if I can cock-block these people the way I cock-blocked Scaramucci for six months.’ ” (Priebus did not respond to a request for comment.)

On a podcast last week, Scaramucci believed that something would happen to Lizza soon. From The Hill:

“This guy’s obviously a very bad actor,” Scaramucci told Carton on Monday. “Karma’s a bitch. It’ll come back and bite him. You’ll see.”

This past fall, a “Sh*tty Media Men” list made its rounds among female journalists and Lizza had a spot on it. The list said that he is “[C]reepy af [as f*ck] in the DM’s.”

He looks like the pajama boy.

So one side can’t comment further and the other side refuses to explain. Brilliant.

Big deal; he’s just being treated the same way as males on college campuses were treated up through Trump. Not only are some colleges males fighting back, but some of the rules are changing.

One of the rule changes is that the police are to be involved. College administrators are not judges. So in this case let Lizza’s girlfriend go the cops.

Sorry, totally meaningless, and I’m not going to get excited over anything meaningless. I can only be manipulated so far, and we’re long past that point.

“Improper sexual conduct” … Billy Jeff-style improper? Serial rapist? Or maybe Al Franken-style improper? Sticky octopus hands? Or perhaps he inspired a Hostile Work Environment™ by telling a paralegal she looked good in houndstooth.

Absurd.

I continue to wonder specifically what behavior merits firing and what standards of proof apply, in the workplace and in politics.

The New Yorker magazine announced Monday it had fired Washington correspondent Ryan Lizza following an allegation of sexual misconduct.

“The New Yorker recently learned that Ryan Lizza engaged in what we believe was improper sexual conduct,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “We have reviewed the matter and, as a result, have severed ties with Lizza. Due to a request for privacy, we are not commenting further.”

In a statement, Lizza said the magazine made “a terrible mistake” and rejected its characterization of his relationship.

either Lizza screwed up royally or he’s gotten caught up in the
the Lib search for the ‘fairest of them all’.

Man! If I wasn’t already happily married, I might just give up the female crowd. It has now reached the point that an old girlfriend or even a one night stand can end your career/life whether or not it ended amicably. All she has to do is say you were abusive with no details and she gets to remain anonymous but you lose your job and career. Sounds fair to me. I can see that this guy is a scumbag but is there to be no due process? I watched the three women yaking about Trump today and honestly they should get a life. One said while being introduced he kissed her! OMG! call the rape squad. One said that when she was in the Miss America pageant that he came backstage and looked them over from head to toe like they were meant! OMG! But wait, she then said he came back to the hair and makeup area and she was sitting there nude beneath her ROBE! Old Don has Xray vision you know. And then there was the old hag that said that 30 years ago she was sitting by Trump on a plane and he grabbed her breast and tried to ram his hand up her skirt. Did she call the FA and asked to be moved or complain? No, but she remembers it and expects others to believe her. Would you continue to sit next to a guy who just did this to you? What did she and Don do for the next several hours? Talk, make out? How awkward can any situation be? But no complaint. This is BS! This isn’t sexual harassment.

I would hate to be dating right now

On another note Fox came out with a poll that said Moore was going to lose by 10 points tomorrow and then Rush and Hannity never mentioned the race on their radio shows
Very nervous

WTF

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

How rich that a media outlet is honoring a request for privacy. I guess that they do know how to do that if it’s their balls in a jar in the civil courtroom.

Another day. Another man denied civil rights. He was deemed unworthy, selected and aborted in a public lynching (a.k.a. witch trial, a.k.a. abortion rite).

His New Yorker bosses were very upset when they found out that LIzza wasn’t (totally) gay.

Yeah, he’s ‘fired.

This guy – like Charlie Rose, Al Franken, etc. – are on ice for a year. They’ll all be back.

The ONLY reason for the current crop of democrat/liberal ‘firings’ is to try and get the public to believe there is parity between these creeps and President Trump – and pressure Trump to either resign, or be impeached by the corrupt hysterics of a democrat House.

Nice civil war, huh?

I’m sure that the Dems/libs/progs would love to have “sexual improprieties” allegations gain traction against Trump. but that is not why the liberal-progressives are taking it in the neck for these allegations. It is all an attempt of the Dems to CYA. So far, the liberal Democrats are leading the Republicans/conservatives by about 40 to 1. And, the really heinous examples are ALL Dems. So, the Dems [also known as the party of slavery racial discrimination] has now become the party of gross sexual improprieties. They are just trying to win over the group that they have preyed upon for the last 100 years.

Sue The New Yorker and she will no longer be anonymous.

Start that process and see what happens?
