Promise not fulfilled. He could very easily have moved the embassy simply by declaring it so, and he didn’t. And now the State Department has announced that there is no change to its policy of refusing to list Israel as the country of birth in the US passports of people born in Jerusalem. That is what matters, not merely finally ceasing the childish pretense that the Israeli government is located in a city where it has never been.
The most important thing is the Day of Rage it led to. Oh well, at a Palestinian or two got killed while raging, so some good came from it.
