Country music singer Neal McCoy has released a song entitled “Take a Knee My Ass” in response to NFL players kneeling in protest before our flag and during our national anthem.  McCoy debuted the song on Facebook Live, and it has gone viral.

NBC4 reports:

Neal McCoy debuted his new single, “Take a Knee, My Ass (I Won’t Take a Knee)” on Facebook Live.

“I’ve been on 15 USO tours,” McCoy says. “I’ve entertained our troops in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and all over the world. So, no, this is not a money grab. This is a guy that believes in our country, that does not like people kneeling, not standing with their hands over their hearts, for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem. That’s what I’m about.”

As of Nov. 18, McCoy has said the Pledge of Allegiance on social media for 681 consecutive days.

McCoy also recently took aim at the GQ cover naming former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick “Citizen of the Year.”

“If you haven’t seen it they named their GQ ‘Citizen of the Year’ for 2017, Colin Kaepernick,” McCoy says. “Now, I didn’t read the article, I saw it when I was driving, I understand they’re probably going to say he’s done a lot for Civil Rights and everything, and maybe he has. Maybe whatever he was trying to do, with civil unrest, maybe African Americans being treated wrong, or not equally, and some of that’s right. Maybe that’s what he was trying to do. But, taking a knee during the National Anthem at a professional NFL game is not the way to do it.”

Here are the lyrics:

I pledge allegiance to the flag
Of the United States of America
I’ll stand and place my hand upon my heart
Every time her anthem plays

When I see somebody on TV
Take their stand on bended knee
Whether it’s on astro turf or grass
I think of those whose freedom was not free
I say, “Take a knee? My ass!”

I’ll stand up for the flag
Take off my hat for Old Glory
Thank God I live in the home of the brave
And the land of the free

I’ll honor the ones who gave it all
So we’re all free to go play ball
If only for their sake
I won’t take a knee

From Valley Forge to Vietnam
9/11 to Afghanistan
That star-spangled banner does yet wave
I won’t forget I owe a debt of gratitude
I never can repay

Arm and arm and side by side
American heroes fought and died
Is showing some respect too much to ask?
I speak for those whose freedom was not free
And I say, “Take a knee, my ass!”

I’ll stand up for the flag
Take off my hat and for Old Glory
Thank God I live in the home of the brave
And the land of the free

I’ll honor the ones who gave it all
So we’re all free to go play ball
If only for their sake
I won’t take a knee

O say can you see?
If only for their sake
I won’t take a knee

Me. McCoy as a former Sailor I thank you for this song. To the spoiled brat FAKE protester I say if you don’t like America LEAVE but I know who are whiny spoiled brats and you won’t give up your Multimillion dollar homes or the protection the police you HATE gives your sorry worthless backsides. I also know if you tried this IGNORANCE in your Ancestors Homelands you start down with you knee and NEVERRISE AGAIN. They would kill you if they did not make you a slave digging their diamonds to pay to kill those blacks not in their tribe a item made worthless by centuries of cross breeding. So little brats who won’t stand take your pathetic FAKE protest and go away if you don’t like America. And please NEVER RETURN.
