Disgraced politician Anthony Weiner has reported to the Federal Medical Center Devens in Massachusetts to start his 21-month prison sentence he received for sexting with a minor.

Weiner spent his last day of freedom with his father Morton at his Manhattan apartment. His brother Jason dropped him off at the prison.

People have described this facility as a little bit of luxury. From Zero Hedge:

The lockup, which is located on a former Army base about 40 miles northwest of Boston, is just one of two sites that offer residential treatment for sex offenders, who share a common housing unit and undergo therapy five days a week.

The site has a reputation as a cushy “Club Fed”-type prison. Other infamous inmates include inside trader Raj Rajaratnam, who suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, and Peter Madoff, a reported cancer survivor who helped older brother Bernie Madoff scam $20 billion from investors through his epic Ponzi scheme.

A judge sentenced Weiner to prison in September and also ordered him to register as a sex offender. He will have to undergo “three years of supervised release” once his sentence ends.

Weiner told the judge that this latest sexting scandal “is his rock bottom” and that he “was a very sick man for a long period of time.”

In May, Weiner pleaded guilty in a federal court for sexting with the minor. Weiner requested “probation and community service.” His lawyers have sought a prison term of 21 months to 27 months as part of a plea deal, “which isn’t binding on the sentencing judge.”

Weiner’s lawyer even tried to convince the judge that his client was not at fault for sexting with the 15-year-old girl because she wanted to affect the presidential election. His lawyers insisted that Weiner “never sought out teenagers on the internet and didn’t engage in other predatory behaviors typical of those arrested in similar cases.” NBC News said that the young girl once told Inside Edition that she “wanted to see if Anthony was still up to the same antics.”

The scandal wove itself into the 2016 presidential election when the FBI took possession of Weiner’s electronics, including a laptop that had emails between Abedin and Hillary. This discovery led the FBI to reopen its investigation into Hillary’s personal email server when she served as secretary of state.

On October 30, Abedin claimed she had no idea how the emails between her and Hillary ended up on Weiner’s laptop. Fuzzy blogged at the time that the Department of Justice blocked FBI access to the laptop. But later in the day the FBI finally got a warrant to search through the laptop. Two months later, a judge unsealed the FBI search warrant.

a Club Fed with Residential Housing is very punishing..NOT

Consider this: with 53 days per year “good conduct” and up to 6 months “halfway house”, Weiner could be out in a little over 12 months …

Count me cynical on the “therapy” for Weiner’s behavior.

It’s more of a “how to and not get caught” rather than “don’t do it” type of therapy. Before I retired as a Peace Officer, I had to take courses in what the Sex Offender Treatment Programs taught. I was not popular, because I argued and won with the therapists that all they were doing was teaching the criminals how to get away with it longer, and therefore have more victims.

Less than two years, and in a good-time house at that. Not one single solitary one of us comment-makers on this site would get the same comfy-chair-and-soft-cushions deal. I’m disgusted.

It’s still a humiliating fate for a former member of the Democratic Party wunderkind.

Another example of how there is no rule of law. Under the “Connected Persons Clause” of the Elitists’ Constitution, they do not get punished by the system for anything.

We have accepted there is a two-tier justice system in the United States. Like obamacare, where we peons have to suffice, where Congress and the president – and one SEIU union are excepted – we now have obamajustice.

Apparently, AG Silent Bill Sessions is content either being a pawn of obamajustice, or he is afraid of being outed for something in his past.

Until hillary clinton is indicted while she is still alive, obamajustice will be the law of the land.

I’m so disappointed! I was really looking forward to finding out who his cell mate would be and Weiner’s answer to his question: “hey Weiner…..you wanna be da husband or da wife?”

Remember last winter when his elderly mother had to take out a second mortgage on her home to pay for his rehab at horse camp?
