Allegations surfaced Sunday that ‘House of Cards’ star Kevin Spacey made inappropriate sexual advances towards a 14-year-old boy some thirty years ago.

Monday, Netflix issued a statement saying they were “deeply disturbed” by the allegations and that season six of the hit show, currently in production, would be its last.

Less than 48 hours after the allegations were published and Netflix is indefinitely suspending production of the last season of ‘House of Cards’.

From Page Six:

Production on the sixth and final season of “House of Cards” has been suspended indefinitely – two days after sexual harassment allegations surfaced against Kevin Spacey.

“[Media Rights Capital] and Netflix have decided to suspend production on House of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew,” the two companies said Tuesday in a joint statement to Deadline.

On Monday, Netflix said its popular political drama would end after the upcoming sixth season, which began production only a few weeks ago in Baltimore.

The season was set to premiere in 2018.

The smartest thing the Devil ever did was make people believe that he was gay.

Read on another blog that they have three episodes of the current season in the can and will finish the season before dispensing with Spacey. Said their PR firm found a way to make it easy for people to assume one thing, while not really doing what people are assuming.

Sounds like a bait and switch.

Two different statements. Two days ago they said this would be the last season. today they are saying production is suspended.

Kinda funny how, suddenly, everyone in the entertainment industry has become so drastic, but somehow they continue to worship Roman Polansky.

Roman may be in trouble:

Nothing says you’re against rape like whipping ripping off your blouse and flouncing around half naked.

transgender, ok. trans-social of the pedophile kind, no.

My comment yesterday condemned them for not canceling outright. I hope they received enough heat to finally see the light.
The only difference between Polanski and Spacey was Polanski’s victim was one year younger.

Even if they stop it, no way they pull off the already shot eps from netflix. That would be a monumental waste of money for them. They are stuck with their cast for these netflix originals, and might lose subs either way if they were to pull or keep them on the site.

We can add the cast and crew to the list of victims of his outrageous behavior.
