That Look When Palestinian UN Delegation Confronted by Palestinian

“You are the greatest enemy of the Palestinian people”

Palestinian Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of a Hamas leader, lashed out at the Palestinian Authority earlier this week during a session of the UN Human Rights Council.

The UN HRC is pathologically anti-Israel. Some of the worst human rights violators in the world run the show, and turn almost everything into an anti-Israel hatefest.

Yousef appeared on behalf of UN Watch, a non-governmental watchdog group that monitors anti-Israel bias at the UN. UN Watch writes:

EPIC MOMENT: U.N. stunned, Palestinian delegates in shock, as UN Watch brings surprise guest speaker—Palestinian Mosab Hassan Yousef—to expose PLO lies. Watch heads turn & eyes bulge!

Statement by United Nations Watch
36th Session of the U.N. Human Rights Council
Delivered by Mosab Hassan Yousef

Thank you, Mr. President.

I take the floor on behalf of UN Watch.

My name is Mosab Hassan Yousef. I grew up in Ramallah as a member of Hamas.

I address my words to the Palestinian Authority, which claims to be the “sole legitimate representative” of the Palestinian people.

I ask: where does your legitimacy come from?

The Palestinian people did not elect you, and they did not appoint you to represent them.

You are self-appointed.

Your accountability is not to your own people. This is evidenced by your total violation of their human rights.

In fact, the Palestinian individual and their human development is the least of your concerns.

You kidnap Palestinian students from campus and torture them in your jails. You torture your political rivals. The suffering of the Palestinian people is the outcome of your selfish political interests. You are the greatest enemy of the Palestinian people.

If Israel did not exist, you would have no one to blame. Take responsibility for the outcome of your own actions.

You fan the flames of conflict to maintain your abusive power.

Finally, you use this platform to mislead the international community, and to mislead Palestinian society, to believe that Israel is responsible for the problems you create.

Thank you.

Clearly, he is an Israeli plant, intended to discredit the rightful government of the Palestinian people!! Or he’s a vile white supremacist with unusually dark skin.

The UN may have sat in stunned silence, but I gave him a standing ovation.

Is this gentleman the so-called “green prince” who aided Shin Bet in stopping many terrorist attacks, at great personal risk, and, who had his asylum request denied by an administrative judge, until, in a very moving moment, his former Shin Bet handler broke his cover to travel to the U.S. to testify on his behalf?

If so, this is a man of high character, moral fortitude and great personal courage.

May fortune smile on this brave fellow. That was a mic drop.

Yeah that was pretty good. It would have been better with a follow up by Nikki Haley, but that was excellent.

Here’s a great body language analysis of the video:

The man and woman from the Palestinians looked pretty guilty!

Sadly his commentary will be ignored.

The UN members facial expressions listening to Mr. Yourself remind me of a church choir looking at that one person singing off key.

It has always amazed me that so much of the world is terrified of 8.5 million Jews living in virtually the only place in the Middle East which has no oil, and who have never mounted any significant attempt to colonize the territory surrounding their country. In fact, they keep moving out of areas which they captured during their defensive military operations. I mean, what is the big deal?

The Palestinian actually have no more claim to the territory controlled by Israel than the Jews do, Historically, the Israelites held that territory before the current Arab population did. Palestine was a British possession at the time of the creation of modern Israel, so, no Palestinian government was displaced.

It boggles the mind that anyone would consider Israel to be a significant threat to the world, or any part thereof.

As to the Palestinian Authority looking guilty, of course they do. Palestinian leadership, including Yassar Arafat, have been skimming billions of dollars off the monies coming into Palestine to support the Palestinians for decades. It is a cash cow for them. To maintain it, they have continue to demonize Israel. But, if Israel was as bad as they claim it is, there would be no Palestinians to be “victimized” or the Palestinian Authority to “represent” them.

Israel has only 6.5 million Jews.

It wasn’t a British possession; the UK only had it under a League of Nations mandate. The mandate was to prepare it for a Jewish homeland; when they imposed restrictions on Jewish immigration they violated that mandate.

      Sorry about the population number.

However, the British had gained control of Palestine, from the Ottoman Empire during WWI, by occupying it. They wished to continue to control it. In 1920, they convinced the LofN to grant them a mandate to “administer” the area with the stated goal of providing a homeland for the Jews. Of course, historical evidence strongly suggests that the British had no intention of relinquishing control of the area, and the LofN actually had no authority to cede any land to anyone. The area of Palestine only became the State of Israel, in 1948, after the Holocaust in WWII and a terror campaign waged against the recalcitrant British administration of the area, the UN set up a compromise to create a Jewish state, a Palestinian state and UN controlled territory in Palestine. Immediately upon its implementation, 711,000 Palestinian Arabs fled the State of Israel. Some were forced out. But, many chose to leave, either for their own reasons or at the behest of the surrounding Arab nations. The Arab states then launched the 1948 Arab-Israeli War by occupying Palestine.

Thank you for your input. I hope the history of this region is clearer to everyone.

The British occupation did not give it legal control. The legal status of the territories lost by the Central Powers was determined by the San Remo conference, which decided the occupying powers would not gain them but would administer them under mandates from the League of Nations.

It’s a myth that Israel was created by the UN General Assembly’s partition resolution of 1947. The General Assembly is a talking shop, and has no authority to do anything. Its resolutions are merely expressions of opinion. Resolution 181 was a recommendation of a plan to partition the territory. The Arabs rejected the plan, so it was never implemented. Israel unilaterally declared its independence a few hours before the British mandate was to expire and the British were to leave. It neither needed nor had anyone’s permission to do so.
