Last night, President Donald Trump held a rally in Phoenix, AZ, where he trashed the media for its dishonesty about his remarks about Charlottesville. He also railed against the GOP in Congress for not repealing Obamacare. From Fox News:
But Trump was most animated when defending himself against accusations he wasn’t forceful enough in condemning the white supremacists and racists who were protesting in Charlottesville earlier this month. He blamed the media for distorting his comments.At one point, the president pulled a piece of paper out of his jacket and re-read his initial statements condemning the racists involved the protests.“Did they report that I said that racism is evil?” Trump asked of the media. The crowd yelled, “No!”“You know why?” Trump asked. “Because they are very dishonest people.”—“These are sick people,” Trump said of the media. “You know the thing I don’t understand? You would think … they’d want to make our country great again. And I honestly believe they don’t.”
Trump also “dinged” Arizona’s senators Jeff Flake and John McCain due to recent fights over Obamacare and immigration.
McCain received Trump’s wrath after he voted “against the Senates recent plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare.” Trump lamented on that issue by reminding the crowd the Senate was only “[O]ne vote away,” but he would “not mention any names.”
Trump said he didn’t want to speak about Flake, someone Trump called “weak on borders, weak on crime.”
We know that the mainstream media still hates the fact that failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton lost…to Trump of all people. Of course Trump’s comments led to a meltdown by the elitist media, including CNN’s Don Lemon. He said Trump is “unhinged” and “embarrassing.”
Then Lemon claimed that Trump is trying to start a civil war:

In all, it proved why Trump won in 2016. It’s these sorts of tantrums from the media that pushes moderates into the Trump camp and makes those already in it to dig in deeper. We went through a gauntlet of nonsense last night, with the discussions about his mental health from people who are explicitly anti-Trump. The talk about civil war was doubly insane. You want to talk crazy; please discuss ways in which you know for sure that the president wants to cause a civil war. The overreach and hyperbole just kills any legitimate criticism there might have been during last night’s remarks. That’ll get glossed over because apparently Don Lemon thinks Fort Sumter reloaded is upon us. It was a clown show. Period.
What’s a Trump rally without protesters? But it’s amazing how just a few people can make everything go to hell in an instant. Some people started to throw objects at the police.
Then the officers used tear gas and pepper spray to disperse the crowds.
