After a mere ten days, Anthony Scaramucci is out as White House Communications Director. From The New York Times:
Mr. Scaramucci’s abrupt removal came just 10 days after the wealthy New York financier was brought on to the West Wing staff, a move that convulsed an already chaotic White House and led to the departures of Sean Spicer, the former press secretary, and Reince Priebus, the president’s first chief of staff.The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.It was not clear whether Mr. Scaramucci will remain employed at the White House in another position or will leave altogether.
ABC News reported that Scaramucci resigned. The Times said that Trump removed him. We will update this post as more information comes out.

The change came at the request of new chief of staff John Kelly, who started Monday, the officials said. It was not clear whether he would take on a new role after leaving the communications job, nor was it immediately clear who would take over the position.”Kelly is already changing the culture here,” said one White House aide.
Scaramucci came into the White House like a wrecking ball. Press Secretary Sean Spicer resigned after he objected to Trump appointing Scaramucci to the communications director role.
Then last Friday Reince Priebus left his role as chief of staff a day after The New Yorker published a crude interview with Scaramucci, who described Priebus as “a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac.”
The Washington Post even pointed out that the Harvard Law School alumni directory has listed Scaramucci as dead:
The blink-and-you-missed-him former White House communications director is listed as deceased in the new Harvard Law School alumni directory, which arrived in alums’ mailboxes the very week that “The Mooch” became the most talked-about guy in politics. An asterisk by the 1989 graduate’s name indicates that he was reported dead since the last directory, which was published in 2011.It’s unclear whether he was the victim of a prank — or just a typo. Harvard Law didn’t say, but the school was apparently crimson-faced over the flub. “Regrettably, there is an error in the Harvard Law School alumni directory in the listing for Anthony Scaramucci,” a spokeswoman told us in an emailed statement. “We offer our sincere apologies to Mr. Scaramucci. The error will be corrected in subsequent editions.”
