Branco Cartoon – Tear Down That Wall, Mr. Trump

Comments

Sadly, you should have drawn T-rump with a small hammer.

All he plans to do with the tax code is peck around the margins, not tear it down as should happen.

Cutting the Corporate tax rate in half is “pecking around the margins”? Who’s the real pecker here?

Yes. It certainly IS just pecking around the margins. It leaves in place the single worst affront to the idea of American citizens being “free” that exists, and the source of a great deal of evil in our country.

The tax code should be burned down to the ground and replaced with some system that does not act to indenture half of America to the other half.

And why did you find it necessary to attack me again?

Doing like the Irish did and cutting it to zero sounds good.

Trump’s doing here as he wants to do with ObamaCare: Repeal and Replace. In both cases, repeal is a charade and replace is just another way to stick it to the tax payer.

Inheritance tax?
So individuals get to pay higher rates?

Trump’s plan to increase taxes on those who already pay the majority of taxes is typical big-government larder distribution.

The federal government supports and subsidizes state government programs to help the ‘poor’ and now wants to increase the taxes on those who already pay for those federally subsidized programs.

God forbid anyone should take account of the tax code when purchasing a home; Trump’s really going to teach them a lesson concerning the stupidity of economic stability.

According to his proposal, T=rump wants to keep deductions for home mortgage interest and charitable contributions.

Of course, all of this is moot since the Congress has to pass law to make any of it happen.

    We’ll see…
