There seems to be an endless supply of programs like this in higher education.

SLU to host 11-week series on ‘privilege, whiteness, and racism’

Saint Louis University is sponsoring a weekly “Witnessing Whiteness” book discussion for students interested in supporting “diversity and racial justice initiatives.”

The group, which will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for 11 sessions starting January 25, will focus on on the book Witnessing Whiteness: The Need to Talk about Race and How to Do It by Shelly Tochluk, Ph.D.

According to The Office of Diversity and Community Engagement’s description of the event, “the goals of the series are to build a community with a shared understanding of privilege, whiteness, and racism[;] to increase the ability of participants to support and implement diversity and racial justice initiatives[;] and to develop leadership capacity around issues of diversity and race.”

The description also implies that the meetings are intended to serve as a safe space for participants, stating that “group guidelines support the creation of a welcoming, inviting space where participants feel free to speak the truth of their experience without fear of shame or reprisal.”

These classes are no different than the hate speech liberals claim to abhor.

I am pretty sure it is racist if a black cop kills a white thug who is beating him in his patrol car, and the federal government goes after that black cop.

And I am equally sure that is racist if a racially mixed young man shoots a white guy who is beating him up, and the federal government goes after that mixed racial individual.

There is room for discussion, and also lots of room for weeding out institutional racism in the Obama’s Justice Department, or should that be Injustice Department.

We all need to take these classes.
Once we get started at destroying their agenda they’ll have to live the rest of their lives in their safe space and we won’t have to bothered by them anymore.
