This performance is actually from last year but the song is timeless.
Hillsdale is one of the few American colleges where no one worries about political correctness when it comes to celebrating Christmas.

Probably my favorite Christmas carol, for the building intensity and for the near-infinite chordal and harmonic possibilities: no two people or groups perform it quite the same way.
Whether it’s harp soloist and choir (as in the video, which was lovely) or piano, guitar, and vocal trio (as we performed it in our church on Christmas Eve), it’s all good. 🙂
