Every year, the president awards Medals of Freedom to a handful of civilian recipients. This year, longtime Dodgers baseball announcer, Vin Scully will receive a Medal of Freedom.
The White House recorded the phone call made by Press Secretary Josh Ernst informing Scully of his upcoming award.
